Techniques for static and dynamic input multiplexing for high-density neural signal recording are disclosed herein. A multiplexer can receive a first set of neural signals via inputs. A subset of the first set of neural signals above a threshold can be determined. A group of the inputs corresponding to the subset of the first set of neural signals can be determined. Operation of the multiplexer can be modified to block inputs not in the identified group of the inputs. A second set of neural signals can be received into the multiplexer via the group of the inputs. The second set of neural signals can be transmitted to a plurality of channels of an amplifier while blocking inputs not in the identified group of the inputs. The second set of neural signals can be amplified using the amplifier. The amplified second set of neural signals can be transmitted for further processing.

Automatic routing based on dual-capability Wi-Fi systems

A system and method are disclosed in which smart routing of a signal from a Wi-Fi device to an Access Point (AP) is performed by consulting a dynamic mesh network of measured path information between entities in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). The WLAN consists of at least two possible paths between the Wi-Fi device and the AP, and each path may include one or more sub-paths. The measured path information consists of Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) and Quality Indication (QI) measurements. The dynamic mesh network is generated by APs performing beamforming operations with other APs in the WLAN and obtaining distinct RSSI and QI for each measured path. The measured RSSI and QI of each path, for both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands, is added to the mesh network. Wi-Fi devices entering the WLAN consult the mesh network to determine the optimum connectivity path to the AP, thus avoiding routing through an unnecessary number of additional APs as well as APs with an already heavy payload.

Systems and methods for accessing a satellite in real-time. A mobile device for accessing a satellite in real-time includes: a communication device for directly communicating data with a satellite; a display for displaying a graphic user interface (GUI); one or more processors; and a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising one or more sequences of instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, causes steps to be performed comprising: responsive to a touch on the GUI, sending data directly to the satellite via the communication device. The data sent to the satellite includes information of global positioning system (GPS) coordinates of the mobile device and an identification of a user of the mobile device, a set of access parameters, a query for a list of satellites that are accessible in real-time according to the set of access parameters.

Routing of data in network

A method for routing data by a node from a plurality of nodes connected by links to form a network includes feeding, to a global bus, local traffic information regarding the node, the global bus being provided separately from the links and spread within the network. The method also includes obtaining, from the global bus, global traffic information regarding other nodes from the plurality of nodes.
