The head band assembly includes first and second elongate pieces each extending over a portion of the length of the head band assembly. At least one of the first and second elongate pieces is movable along the length of the head band assembly and including a first length portion and a second length portion having a larger bending strength than the first length portion.
Electrodes for hearing devices and related methods
A hearing device for electrically coupling to skin of a user includes a body having a housing forming at least part of an outer surface. The device includes an acoustic transducer and an electrode disposed at least partially in the body. The electrode includes an outer conductor disposed at least partially in the housing and an inner conductor electrically coupled to the outer conductor and disposed subflush to the outer surface. A method of forming the hearing device includes providing a cast shell, forming an elastomeric conductor in a cavity of the cast shell, and removing a thin outer wall of the cast shell to form the housing of the hearing device.
Loudspeaker device
The present disclosure provides a loudspeaker device. The loudspeaker device may include an earphone core configured to transfer an electrical signal to a vibration signal; an auxiliary function module configured to receive an auxiliary signal and perform an auxiliary function; a first flexible circuit board configured to electrically connect to an audio signal wire and an auxiliary signal wire of an external control circuit, the audio signal wire and the auxiliary signal wire being electrically connected with the earphone core and the auxiliary function module, respectively through the first flexible circuit board; and a core housing configured to accommodate the earphone core, the auxiliary function module, and the first flexible circuit board. The wiring process inside the loudspeaker device provided in the present disclosure may be simplified, thereby further reducing a volume of the loudspeaker device.
Systems and methods for dynamic noise reduction
Aspects relate to systems and methods for dynamic active noise reduction including at least a sensor configured to sense a physiological characteristic of a user and transmit a physiological signal correlated to the sensed physiological characteristic, at least an environmental microphone configured to transduce an environmental noise to an environmental noise signal, a processor configured to receive the environmental noise signal, generate a noise-reducing sound signal as a function of the environmental noise signal, and, modify the noise-reducing sound signal as a function of the physiological signal, and a speaker configured to transduce a noise-reducing sound from the modified noise-reducing sound signal.
EARCAP AND EARPLUG
The present invention provides an earcap and an earplug, the earcap has a shell made of a flexible material, the two ends of the shell are respectively provided with a sound inlet and a sound outlet, the interior of the shell is disposed in a through manner, a filter net is disposed at a position close to the sound outlet, in the shell. The earplug comprises an earcap and a filtering core mounted in the earcap, the earcap has a shell made of a flexible material, two ends of the shell are open, the two ends of the shell are respectively provided with a sound inlet and a sound outlet, the interior of the shell is disposed in a through manner, the filtering core is mounted between the sound inlet and the sound outlet, a filter net is disposed at a position close to the sound outlet, in the shell.
WIRELESS NOISE-CANCELLING EARPLUG
A wireless noise-cancelling earplug includes a housing within which at least an active noise cancellation (ANC) circuit for producing anti-noise, a speaker for emitting the anti-noise as a sound wave, and a battery for powering at least the ANC circuit. The earplug further includes an audio cavity for guiding the sound wave from the speaker out of the earplug, at least one microphone for measuring ambient noise and feeding the measured ambient noise to the ANC circuit, and a passive noise reduction unit for blocking ambient noise.
ERGONOMIC EARPIECE WITH ATTACHMENT MOUNT
Various techniques are provided to implement and use an earpiece having an attachment mount. In one example, an earpiece includes an arcuate rib having a lobe disposed on an upper end thereof and configured to engage with a crus of a helix and an antihelix of a user's ear. The earpiece also includes a mount extending from the arcuate rib and comprising a snap clip configured to engage and position an audio device in contact with the user's ear. Other implementations and related methods are also provided.
HEARING AID COMPRISING A LOCKING MECHANISM
According to an embodiment, a hearing aid is disclosed. The hearing aid includes a first functional unit and a second functional unit. The second functional unit is configured to removably couple with the first functional unit. The coupling provides at least a mechanical connection between the first functional unit and the second functional unit. The first functional unit includes a moveable element that is configured to move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the moveable element is contained entirely within the first functional unit. In the second position, a part of the moveable element is configured to protrude out of the first functional unit. The second functional unit includes a recess configured to receive the part of the moveable element that protrudes out of the first functional unit such that the first functional unit and the second functional unit are immovably locked with respect to each other in response to the moveable element is received in the recess.
