ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SPEAKER MODULE AND RECEIVER MODULE
An electronic device according to various embodiments disclosed herein may include: a housing, a camera module comprising a camera disposed in the housing, a speaker module comprising a speaker positioned in a first direction with respect to the camera module, a receiver module comprising a receiver positioned in a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to the camera module, first sound holes including a connection hole positioned in the first direction with respect to the camera module and a hole positioned in the second direction with respect to the camera module, the first sound holes being positioned on a side surface of the electronic device, a first sound conduit interconnecting the connection hole and the speaker module, a second sound hole positioned on a front surface of the electronic device, a second sound conduit including a connection conduit disposed in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction with respect to the first sound conduit, the second sound conduit interconnecting the second sound hole and the receiver module, and a connection portion interconnecting the first sound conduit and the connection conduit of the second sound conduit.
Automated clinical documentation system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for proactive encounter scanning is executed on a computing device and includes obtaining encounter information of a patient encounter. The encounter information is proactively processed to determine if the encounter information is indicative of one or more medical conditions and to generate one or more result set. The one or more result sets are provided to the user.
Systems and methods for distinguishing valid voice commands from false voice commands in an interactive media guidance application
Systems and methods for distinguishing valid voice commands from false voice commands in an interactive media guidance application. In some aspects, the interactive media guidance application receives, at a user device, a signature sound sequence. The interactive media guidance application determines, using control circuitry, based on the signature sound sequence, a threshold gain for the current location of the user device. The interactive media guidance application receives, at the user device, a voice command. The interactive media guidance application determines, using the control circuitry, based on the voice command, a gain for the voice command. The interactive media guidance application determines, using the control circuitry, whether the gain for the voice command is different from the threshold gain. Based on determining that the gain for the voice command is different from the threshold gain, the interactive media guidance application executes, using the control circuitry, the voice command.
BYSTANDER-CENTRIC PRIVACY CONTROLS FOR RECORDING DEVICES
A recording device provides bystander-centric privacy controls for authorizing the storage of a bystander's identifying information (e.g., video or audio recordings of the bystander). Before a recording device can store identifying information of bystanders, the bystanders may indicate to the recording device whether they authorize the storage. If the bystanders do not authorize the storage, the recording device may modify the identifying information captured by sensors, such as a video camera or a microphone, such that the identity of the non-authorizing bystander is not identifiable through the modified identifying information. Thus, bystanders are given increased agency over whether they want to be recorded. Further, if the bystanders do not want to be recorded, sensor data that may identify them is modified by the recording device to prevent unwanted exposure of their identity in recorded content.
Audio signal processing for noise reduction
A headphone, headphone system, and speech enhancing method is provided to enhance speech pick-up from the user of a headphone and includes receiving a plurality of signals from a set of microphones and generating a primary signal by array processing the microphone signals to steer a beam toward the user's mouth. A noise reference signal is also derived from one or more microphones via a delay-and-sum technique, and a voice estimate signal is generated by filtering the primary signal to remove components that are correlated to the noise reference signal.
Seatback speakers
Various implementations include seats and related loudspeakers. In particular cases, a seat includes: a seat headrest portion; a seat backrest portion; and a loudspeaker assembly. The loudspeaker assembly includes at least one driver for generating an acoustic output; and an acoustic exit fixed in the seat backrest portion and angled to provide the acoustic output to a location below a nominal ear position of an occupant of the seat, wherein a firing angle of the at least one driver provides the acoustic output to achieve a consistent frequency response across a range of positions deviating from the nominal ear position.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES RELATING TO AN ESTIMATED POSITION OF AN AUDIO CAPTURE DEVICE
This specification describes a method comprising determining whether an estimated position of an audio capture device which captures audio data is within boundaries of a predetermined area, and in response to a determination that the estimated position is not within the boundaries of the predetermined area, associating the captured audio data with an adjusted position.
LOCATING INDIVIDUALS USING MICROPHONE ARRAYS AND VOICE PATTERN MATCHING
Examples disclosed herein provide the ability to identify the location of an individual within a room by using a combination of microphone arrays and voice pattern matching. In one example, a computing device may extract a voice detected by microphones of a microphone array located in a room, perform voice pattern matching to identify an individual associated with the extracted voice, and determine a location of the individual in the room based on an intensity of the voice detected individually by the microphones of the microphone array.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM MECHANISM
A suspension system is provided with a frame to mount to a side surface of a speaker cabinet with a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The suspension system is also provided with a lever arm with a proximal end and a distal end that are both adapted to connect to an upper support. The lever arm also has an intermediate portion that is pivotally connected to the frame about a pivot axis with a plurality of arcuate slots formed through. Each arcuate slot is formed with an end stop that corresponds to a splay angle of the speaker cabinet relative to the upper support, and each slot aligns with one of the apertures to receive a pin. Whereby suspending the speaker cabinet from the upper support pivots the lever arm in a first direction until the pin engages the end stop.
