Speaker box
11665472 · 2023-05-30 · ·

A speaker box includes a housing and a speaker unit accommodated in the housing. The speaker unit includes a diaphragm configured to vibrate and sound. The diaphragm is spaced from the housing to form a front sound cavity therebetween. The speaker box further includes a sound transmitting channel communicating the front sound cavity with outside. The front sound cavity and the sound transmitting channel cooperatively form a front cavity of the speaker box. A sound absorption layer is disposed at a portion of the housing facing the front cavity. The sound absorption layer includes a micro-porous structure. When the sound wave passes through the front cavity, the sound absorption layer is capable of absorbing the resonance vibration of the front cavity in high frequency, thus suppressing the amplification of the sound distortion due to the resonance vibration of the front cavity and improving the acoustic performance of the speaker box.

WEARABLE DEVICE

Wearable devices may include a housing including a first surface facing a first direction and having a speaker nozzle part, and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction and having at least one microphone hole. A speaker and a microphone are disposed in the housing, the microphone configured to collect an acoustic signal. A partition wall is positioned between the speaker and the microphone. A first space is defined between the speaker and the partition wall, a first path is provided for connecting the speaker and the speaker nozzle part, and a second path, separated from the first space by the partition wall, connects the microphone and the first path.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An electronic device includes a body and a sound cavity assembly. The sound cavity assembly is coupled to the body and forms a sound cavity cooperatively with the body. The sound cavity includes a speaker and a cover. The cover is coupled to the body and at least partially protruding from the body to adjust a volume of the sound cavity.

Portable speaker system

A portable audio input/output device may include one or more openings that extend through a cover of the device and allow acoustic signals outside a housing of the device to reach a microphone disposed within the housing. The opening(s) may be illuminated by a light guide disposed within the housing, which scatters light emitted from lights disposed within the housing. In some instances, a hole may pass through a printed circuit board to allow acoustic signals to be received by the microphone disposed below the printed circuit board. An input/output (I/O) interface module with multiple buttons and inputs may be installed in the hole. The multiple buttons and I/O ports of the I/O interface module may be aligned along an axis vertical relative to the housing and centered with respect to each other.

A hub has a display Printed Circuit Board (PCB) having a contact switch; a display panel positioned above the display PCB and controlled by the display PSB to output content. A window support is positioned over the display panel and has an opening exposing at least a section of display panel. A window formed of a transparent material is positioned over the window support. The window support includes a window support plate defining the opening, the window being positioned on an upper surface of the window support plate; at least one manipulation protrusion extending downward from the window support plate at a position corresponding to the contact switch, the manipulation protrusion operating the contact switch in response to pressure applied to the support plate through the window; and support bosses extending downward from the window support plate and coupled to the partition.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SOUND OUTPUT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GRILLE FOR THE APPARATUS
20170347214 · 2017-11-30 ·

A method relates to manufacturing a sound output apparatus. The method includes processing a flat metal plate to have a shape with through-holes; forming a cylindrical grille by bonding two sides of the processed flat metal panel to each other so that a side corresponding to the upper end of the main shape forms an upper end of the grille and a side corresponding to the lower end of the main shape forms a lower end of the grille. The upper end of the grille is deformed to correspond to a shape of a cover by inserting the cover into an opening formed in an upper surface of the grille. A lower end of the grille is deformed to correspond to a shape of the lower-end holding portion formed in the base, by inserting the lower-end holding portion into a lower opening formed in the grille.

Disclosed is a ring shaped wearable communication device (ring) for a user's finger. The ring includes: a sound sensor that detects ambient sound levels; a speaker that produces sound in human audible frequency range per at least one signal received, wherein intensity of the sound produced is based on the ambient sound level; an out port; and a hollow channel with an increasing cross-section that wraps around the finger, wherein: smaller cross-section end of the hollow channel is connected to the speaker and the other end of the hollow channel is connected to the out port to provide a horn-like structure; the out port and the hollow channel are configured to reduce the mismatch between the acoustic impedance of air immediately outside the out port and the acoustic impedance as seen by the speaker just outside the speaker; and the out port emits sound received from the speaker as directional sound in close vicinity of the user's hand.

Speaker housing
