ENCLOSURE FOR DIFFUSING SOUND BY REVERBERATION
The invention relates to an enclosure for diffusing sound by reverberation comprising: —a loudspeaker comprising a fixed frame, a cylindrical support and a membrane connected to an upper bearing surface of the frame; and—a wave guide mounted on the upper bearing surface, the wave guide being substantially in the form of a truncated pyramid with a long wall forming a front face, a short wall and lateral uprights; the wave guide comprising at least one acoustic wall fastened to the lateral uprights, the acoustic wall extending tangentially relative to the generatrix line of the cylindrical support closest to the front face.
Audio driver and power supply unit architecture
This disclosure relates to speakers and more specifically to an array speaker for distributing music uniformly across a room. A number of audio drivers can be radially distributed within a speaker housing so that an output of the drivers is distributed evenly throughout the room. In some embodiments, the exit geometry of the audio drivers can be configured to bounce off a surface supporting the array speaker to improve the distribution of music throughout the room. The array speaker can include a number of vibration isolation elements distributed within a housing of the array speaker. The vibration isolation elements can be configured reduce the strength of forces generated by a subwoofer of the array speaker.
Voice-controlled electronic device
A voice-controlled electronic device that includes a device housing having a longitudinal axis bisecting opposing top and bottom surfaces and a side surface extending between the top and bottom surfaces. The device can further include one or more microphones disposed within the device housing and distributed radially around the longitudinal axis; a processor configured to execute computer instructions stored in a computer-readable memory for interacting with a user and processing voice commands received by the one or more microphones and first transducer and second transducers configured to generate sound waves within different frequency ranges.
Omnidirectional speaker with inverted dome diaphragm and separate exits
An omnidirectional loudspeaker having an inverted dome diaphragm disposed operably connected to a motor assembly and a phasing plug mounted to the motor assembly. The phasing plug has a top portion facing a convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm and a bottom portion extending downward from the top portion along the central axis with a plurality of concentric apertures extending therethrough. Each aperture has a predetermined radial width and is spaced a predetermined concentric distance from an adjacent aperture. The plurality of concentric apertures cooperates with a compression chamber between the convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm and the top portion of the phasing plug. Each aperture has a predetermined radial width, is spaced a predetermined concentric distance from an adjacent aperture and extends through the phasing plug exiting at the bottom portion.
Omnidirectional speaker with an inverted dome diaphragm and asymmetric vertical directivity response
A compression driver for an omnidirectional loudspeaker having an inverted dome diaphragm, a phasing plug having a top portion facing a convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm and a plurality of concentric apertures that cooperate with the convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm. Each aperture has a predetermined radial width and is spaced a predetermined concentric distance from an adjacent aperture converging at an exit of the phasing plug. The compression driver has a dispersion control assembly mounted to the bottom portion of the phasing plug along the central axis.
Full acoustic horn and method for producing same
The invention relates to speaker systems for high-quality sound reproduction. It provides a simplified structure of the device, improves the device manufacturability and durability. The speaker system includes the driver, the horn for reproducing low-frequency range sound (rear horn), and the horn for reproducing high-frequency and mid-frequency range sound (front horn); both horns are made in the form of a single enclosure with the capability of mounting the driver in this enclosure, while the enclosure is made of two solid parts symmetrical with respect to the plane of the central vertical section, each part represents a half of the overall profile of the front and rear horns, with no joints at the junction between the front and the rear horns.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present disclosure may comprise: a flexible display panel; a roller which is elongated and on which the display panel is wound or unwound; a housing in which an accommodating space is provided, wherein the roller is rotatably mounted in the accommodating space; and a speaker assembly which is positioned between the roller and the housing and which is placed on the bottom of the housing, wherein the housing may comprise a front cover which is positioned at the inner side of the front of the housing, is fixed to the bottom of the housing, and has a coupling hole formed therein, and wherein the speaker assembly may comprise a coupling part which is formed at the upper side of the speaker assembly and is inserted into the coupling hole.
Enclosure for diffusing sound by reverberation
AMENDMENT TO THE ABSTRACT The invention relates to an enclosure for diffusing sound by reverberation comprising:—a loudspeaker comprising a fixed frame, a cylindrical support and a membrane connected to an upper bearing surface of the frame; and—a wave guide mounted on the upper bearing surface, the wave guide being substantially in the form of a truncated pyramid with a long wall forming a front face, a short wall and lateral uprights; the wave guide comprising at least one acoustic wall fastened to the lateral uprights, the acoustic wall extending tangentially relative to the generatrix line of the cylindrical support closest to the front face.
SPEAKER
A speaker includes: a diaphragm having a dome shape; a tubular member having the diaphragm disposed inside, and having an inner diameter increasing toward a front; and a phase plug. The phase plug includes: a front surface, a rear surface facing a central portion on a front surface of the diaphragm at a constant interval in parallel, and a side surface connecting the front surface and the rear surface. A front surface of the phase plug is larger than a rear surface of the phase plug as viewed in a front-rear direction of a speaker. At least a part of a side surface of the phase plug has an inclined surface extending outward while extending forward, faces an inner circumferential surface of the tubular member and a front surface of the diaphragm, and directs a sound wave generated from the diaphragm toward an inner circumferential surface of the tubular member.
Loudspeakers
A loudspeaker comprising: an acoustic diaphragm having front and rear surfaces, the acoustic diaphragm in use being driven so as to vibrate and radiate acoustic waves from its front surface in a forward direction away from the loudspeaker and from its rear surface in a rearward direction, and a drive unit located rearwardly or to the front/outside of the diaphragm, there being at least one open duct leading in a rearward direction away from the diaphragm, in which the at least one open duct has a cross-sectional area which decreases in the rearward direction, and in which acoustic waves radiated from the rear surface of the diaphragm pass through the open duct before contacting a front surface of an acoustic metamaterial absorber located generally behind the drive unit and immediately to the rear of the duct.
