Prosthesis adapter
A prosthesis including an abutment, an operationally removable component including a coupling apparatus, and an adapter, wherein the abutment is connected to the adapter and the coupling apparatus of the operationally removable component is releasably coupled to the adapter.
Implantable middle ear transducer having diagnostic detection sensor
Methods and devices for measuring vibration of an implanted driven vibrating elongate body coupled to a bone of the middle ear, for example using an accelerometer coupled to the vibrating body. The measured vibration can be taken during implantation and long again after implantation to check for possible decoupling, disease, or additionally impeded vibratory driving of the middle ear bone. An accelerometer signal can be converted to a displacement value and used to check for an under impeded or over impeded vibratory body. An implanted device can be used to periodically check the vibration of the vibratory body. Methods and devices can be used in conjunction with implanted devices which receive vibratory signals from a middle ear bone and use the signals to drive a disarticulated middle ear bone closer to the ear drum.
Housing comprising a sensor
An assembly of at least one radiation detector, at least one radiation emitter and a housing configured to be positioned inside the ear canal of a person or animal, the detector(s) and emitter(s) being provided in or on the housing, the emitter(s) being configured to emit radiation away from the housing and the detector(s) being configured to receive radiation directed toward the housing. No overlap may be provided between the field of view of the radiation detector(s) and the emitter(s), such as by providing a blocking element.

The hearing device comprises a Behind-The-Ear (BTE) unit and a Receiver-In-the-Ear (RIE) unit, the BTE unit comprising a frame, wherein the frame comprises electronic components of the BTE unit, the RIE unit comprising a plug connector configured for providing an electrical connection between the RIE unit and the BTE unit. The socket connector is connectable to the frame of the BTE unit and is configured for detachably connecting the plug connector to the frame.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a battery, which is disposed in an inner space of the housing, includes a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction different from the first direction, a third surface facing a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction, and a first electrode disposed on the first surface and a second electrode disposed on the second surface, a printed circuit board including a first part disposed to be spaced a predetermined distance apart from the first surface of the battery, a power management circuit configured to provide power used for an operation of the electronic device to at least one electronic component disposed inside the electronic device by using power of the battery, and a second part electrically connected to the battery and disposed to surround at least a part of the second surface and/or the third surface of the battery, an antenna electrically connected to the printed circuit board and configured to communicate with an external electronic device, and a connection member disposed on the first surface of the battery and configured to electrically connect the first part of the printed circuit board and the first electrode of the battery.
Flanged earbud and hearing device including same
Various embodiments of an earbud for insertion into an ear canal and a hearing device that includes such earbud are disclosed. The earbud includes an elongated body having a first end, a second end, and a cavity that extends along a body axis between the first end and the second end of the elongated body. The earbud also includes a first flange connected to the elongated body, where the first flange includes a first end adjacent the first end of the elongated body, a second end, and a sound hole disposed in the first end of the first flange that is acoustically connected to the cavity of the elongated body. The first flange further includes a vent disposed through the first flange. The earbud also includes a second flange connected to the second end of the elongated body and including a first end adjacent the second end of the elongated body and a second end.
Hearing device and method for operating a hearing device
A hearing device, such as a receiver-in-canal hearing aid, has a receiver unit with a receiver, and a control unit. The control unit is connected to the receiver unit via two activation lines to activate the receiver. In addition, a further component, such as a controllable ventilation element, is located in the receiver unit, and the further component is likewise activated via the activation lines by a control signal which is output by the control unit.
ACOUSTIC OUTPUT APPARATUS AND CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus. The apparatus may comprise two ear-hook assemblies configured to be hung outside of two ears of a user respectively, and a rear-hook assembly in a curved shape configured to connect the two ear-hook assemblies and wrap around a rear side of the head of the user. The rear-hook assembly may include an elastic metal filament, wires, and an elastic covering body covering the elastic metal filament and the wires.
Miniature ear canal type hearing aid
The present invention discloses a miniature ear canal hearing aid, electronic elements other than a receiver being wrapped inside a housing, a front end of the housing being sealed and fixed at a rear end of the receiver, a sound outlet of the receiver being exposed to an outside of the housing, the receiver being wrapped with an eardrum head thereon, the eardrum head being fixed at the front end of the housing in a detachable manner, and the sound outlet of the receiver being located inside the eardrum head. The structure of the present invention can increase a degree of curvature of a portion going deep into the ear canal, reduce a volume of the hearing aid, and improve adaptability, comfort and concealment.
