A method and apparatus of a device that authorizes a device for a service is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device intercepts a request for a web page from a web browser executing on the device, wherein the request includes an indication associated with an authorization request for the service and the web page provides the service. In addition, the device presents an authorization user interface on the device. The device further performs a local authorization using a set of user credentials entered via the authorization user interface. The device additionally performs a server authorization with a server. Furthermore, the device redirects the web browser to the requested web page, wherein the web browser is authorized for the service provided by the web page.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, authenticating, by a federated blockchain controller, a user equipment located within a cell coverage area of a network that includes heterogeneous cells. The federated blockchain controller can provide encryption data to the user equipment and corresponding authentication information to one or more multi-access edge computing (MEC) devices associated with the heterogeneous cells to enable secure and efficient handovers for the user equipment amongst the heterogeneous cells, without a need for additional handover reauthentication procedures. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Examples relate to a method and a device for wireless access authentication. The method is applied to an intelligent gateway which is previously associated with account information of a user. The intelligent gateway may receive an access authentication packet comprising an authentication identification indicating a terminal device; the intelligent gateway may construct an identity verification packet comprising an authentication identification indicating the terminal device and an association account identification indicating an account registered on the intelligent gateway; the intelligent gateway may send the identity verification packet to a cloud server; the intelligent gateway may permit a terminal device corresponding to authentication identification carried in a verification success packet returned by the cloud server to pass the access authentication.

Disclosed herein is a method for updating authentication of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving, by a relay UE, a first authentication request message for authenticating a first remote UE from a network, wherein the first authentication request message includes an ID of the first remote UE and authentication request information; acquiring authentication response information by performing an authentication-related procedure with the first remote UE; and transmitting a first authentication response message including the authentication response information and the ID of the first remote UE to the network, and authentication for the first remote UE may be performed based on the authentication response information.

Disclosed herein is a method for updating authentication of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving, by a relay UE, a first authentication request message for authenticating a first remote UE from a network, wherein the first authentication request message includes an ID of the first remote UE and authentication request information; acquiring authentication response information by performing an authentication-related procedure with the first remote UE; and transmitting a first authentication response message including the authentication response information and the ID of the first remote UE to the network, and authentication for the first remote UE may be performed based on the authentication response information.

A communication management system (such as hardware and/or executed software) receives performance information indicating wireless connectivity performance between a communication device and a set of candidate wireless access points. The communication device is initially in communication with a first wireless access point over a wireless link. Based on the performance information, the communication management system selects a candidate wireless access point from the set in which to performance a handoff. The communication management hardware the notifies the communication device to handoff the wireless link from the first wireless access point to the selected candidate wireless access point.

A communication management system (such as hardware and/or executed software) receives performance information indicating wireless connectivity performance between a communication device and a set of candidate wireless access points. The communication device is initially in communication with a first wireless access point over a wireless link. Based on the performance information, the communication management system selects a candidate wireless access point from the set in which to performance a handoff. A method for secured communication by a V2X communication device comprises the steps of: receiving a message on the basis of V2X communication; extracting adaptive certificate pre-distribution (ACPD) target information when the message includes the ACPD target information; pre-authenticating a short-term certificate; and transferring the pre-authenticated short-term certificate so that the pre-authenticated short-term certificate can be broadcasted at a predicted position.

Disclosed is a method for secured communication by a V2X communication device. A method for secured communication by a V2X communication device comprises the steps of: receiving a message on the basis of V2X communication; extracting adaptive certificate pre-distribution (ACPD) target information when the message includes the ACPD target information; pre-authenticating a short-term certificate; and transferring the pre-authenticated short-term certificate so that the pre-authenticated short-term certificate can be broadcasted at a predicted position.

One example method of operation may include identifying a plurality of mobile device telephone numbers associated with a plurality of mobile devices, forwarding the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers to a content delivery device, hashing the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers, storing the hashed plurality of mobile device telephone numbers in the content delivery device, identifying a scheduled call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices, forwarding call content associated with schedule call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices prior to calling the plurality of mobile devices, and responsive to receiving confirmation that the content was successfully forwarded to the plurality of mobile devices, initiating a calling device to begin calling the plurality of mobile devices.
