The present technology relates to a wireless communication apparatus and a wireless communication method that make it possible to read necessary information even in a case where a physical header at a top portion of a signal transmitted from a base station of another BSS fails to be received and the signal is received from the middle. The wireless communication apparatus includes a communication section configured to generate and transmit an OFDM signal in which second information is superimposed in a frequency axis direction of the OFDM signal which includes first information destined for one or more subordinate client devices. The present technology can be applied to a wireless communication apparatus and so forth that perform wireless communication, for example, standardized by IEEE 802.11.

A method for transmitting in a communication network uplink data from an application module in a user terminal. The method includes: determining, by said user terminal, if a correspondence exists between an application module providing at least one uplink packet and at least one rule designating a network slice instantiation to be used for transmitting uplink packets in the communication network; and in response to a determination by said user terminal that the application module providing at least one uplink packet corresponds to a rule designating a network slice instantiation to be used for transmitting the uplink packet in the communication network, transmitting said at least one uplink packet from the user terminal to an entity for access to a user plane of the designated network slice instantiation.

A device is provided, which includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver connects the device to one or more first stations and an access point, and the access point is connected to one or more second stations. The processor is coupled to the transceiver and is configured to provide spatial reuse classification information for the access point to determine whether to apply spatial use in a first PPDU sent from the access point to one of the second stations.

Methods and apparatuses are provided for determining a resource for an acknowledgement signal in a wireless communication system. A transceiver of a user equipment (UE) receives a parameter associated with one or more resource blocks (RBs) for periodic transmission of a channel quality indication (CQI) signal in an operating bandwidth. A controller of the UE determines an RB for transmission of the acknowledgement signal, based on the parameter. The transceiver transmits the acknowledgement signal on the determined RB. The RB for the transmission of the acknowledgement signal is not more outer than the one or more RBs for periodic transmission of the CQI signal in the operating bandwidth.

Methods and apparatuses are provided for determining a resource for an acknowledgement signal in a wireless communication system. A controller of the UE determines an RB for transmission of the acknowledgement signal, based on the parameter. The transceiver transmits the acknowledgement signal on the determined RB. Embodiments of a method and an apparatus for multi-link communications are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for multi-link communications involves associating, by an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD), with a non-AP MLD operating on a first set of links, and allocating, by the AP MLD, an Association ID (AID) to the non-AP MLD, such that the AID is included in a first plurality of AIDs, wherein the first plurality of AIDs does not include a first set of AIDs, and wherein at least one of the first set of AIDs are assigned to at least one of APs and Basic Service Set Identifiers (BSSIDs) on a second set of links.
