Disclosed is a method for radio link monitoring in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for the method. More specifically, a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform Radio Link Monitoring (RLM) in a wireless communication system comprises performing second RLM on a cell based on a Reference Signal (RS) other than a Cell-specific Reference Signal (CRS) and determining an Radio Link Failure (RLF) with respect to the cell based on the second RLM, wherein a condition for determining an RLF applied to the second RLM is different from the condition for determining an RLF applied to CRS-based first RLM.

METHODS AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR MANAGING RADIO LINK FAILURES IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Radio link failures, “RLF”, of a wireless device served by a wireless communication network are managed. A first, default, RLF procedure is associated with at least a first type of wireless devices supported by the wireless communication network. The wireless device obtains, e.g. received from a network node information indicative of a second RLF procedure based on that the wireless device is of a second type having an improved radio coverage capability compared to the first type. The wireless device applies, based on the obtained information, said second RLF procedure.

The present disclosure relates to handling a master cell group (MCG) failure in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from a source primary cell (PCell), a conditional mobility command including a mobility condition for a target PCell; starting a timer for a master cell group (MCG) failure recovery and transmitting MCG failure information related to the MCG failure recovery to a primary secondary cell (PSCell), based on detecting a radio link failure (RLF) on the source PCell; and based on that the mobility condition for the target PCell is satisfied while the timer is running: transmitting, to the PSCell, a new PCell indication informing a mobility from the source PCell to the target PCell; and performing a random access to the target PCell for the mobility.

Embodiments of the present application are directed to a method and apparatus for reporting time information of conditional handover (CHO). In an embodiment of the present application, the method includes: receiving configuration information on CHO, and transmitting time information of CHO in response to at least one failure that occurs during a CHO procedure.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY INFORMATION BY USER EQUIPMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
20230239953 · 2023-07-27 · ·

A method for transmitting a truncated beam failure recovery (BFR) medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises steps of generating a truncated BFR MAC CE while not exceeding an available grant size upon detecting beam failures on a plurality of serving cells; and transmitting the truncated BFR MAC CE to the network, wherein generating the BFR MAC CE comprises: based on beam failure being detected on a special cell (SpCell) among the plurality of serving cells, including BFR information for SpCell among the plurality of serving cells into the truncated beam failure MAC CE firstly; and based on beam failure being detected on at least one SCell among the plurality of serving cells, including first BFR information for each of the at least one secondary cell (SCell) into the truncated beam failure MAC CE in ascending order of a serving cell index, and including second BFR information for each of the at least one SCell into the truncated beam failure MAC CE in ascending order of the serving cell index.

COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

This application provides a communication method and apparatus. In an example method, when a first access network device performs unsuccessful listen before talk (LBT) for channel detection on an unlicensed channel, the first access network device sends first indication information to a second access network device. The first indication information indicates that the first access network device performs unsuccessful LBT for channel detection on the unlicensed channel.

Adapting a mobile network

In a method for adapting a mobile network, a terminal is connected to a first access node of the mobile network via a first connection and to a second access node via a second connection. The first access node controls a data transmission for the terminal and the second access node assists in the data transmission for the terminal. The method comprises determining whether a quality of at least one of the first connection and the second connection is degraded, acquiring quality degradation information about the degradation of the quality of at least one of the first connection and the second connection based on the step of determining, and adapting the mobile network based on the step of acquiring.

A technique includes sending, by a relay node to a candidate base station via a base station-to-base station connection, a request for transmission of reference signals, wherein the base station-to-base station connection includes, at least in part, a wireless connection; receiving, by the relay node from the candidate base station, a reference signal configuration; and measuring one or more signal parameters of one or more received reference signals based on the received reference signal configuration.

Handover method between base stations, device, system and storage medium

Disclosed are a handover method for between base stations, and a device, system and storage medium. The base station sends a handover request to a target base station, where the handover request carries type information of a core network used for indicating the type of core network which the UE to be handed over between base stations needs to access. The base station receives a handover response sent from the target base station, where the handover response indicates whether the target base station allows the UE to be handed over to the target base station, and the handover response is sent by the target base station according to the type information of a core network and the type of at least one core network connected to the target base station.
