TEXT MESSAGE CAPABLE ALARM SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to a text or SMS enabled alarm system. The system, or method for signal transformation having at least one sensor capable of producing at least one trigger signal. The at least one trigger signal capable of being transmitted over at least one communication network to a computing device that monitors the sensors. A computing device can be coupled to the at least one communication network for receiving and/or sending the trigger signal. At least one transmission service unit can also be coupled to the computing device for transmitting a notice or status signal created by the computing device, in a text or SMS format. The computing device coupled to at least one text to DTMF conversion unit, and the DTMF conversion unit being configured to converting a DTMF signal into a text or SMS message for transmission via the at least one transmission service.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INTEGRATING TEXT MESSAGING READ NOTIFICATION WITH AN EMR SYSTEM
A system and method for integrating a text messaging notification system with an electronic medical record (EMR) system. A messaging notification system that provides for secure text messaging to a mobile phone is integrated with an EMR system wherein the text messages are stored as medical records in the EMR system. No data is saved on the message notification system but stored directly in the EMR system. The EMR system is integrated with the mobile device operating system to support acknowledgement of read and delivery receipts.

Message management using silent SMS
A system and method of managing messages in a telecommunications network comprises: transmitting the first SMS message to a wireless device, the first SMS message including a first acknowledgement request and a content processing request; determining whether a first acknowledgement has been received from the wireless device in response to the first acknowledgement request within a first predetermined time period; in response to a determination that the first acknowledgement has not been received within the first predetermined time period: transmitting a second SMS message to the wireless device, the second SMS message including a second acknowledgement request and a content non-processing request; determining whether a second acknowledgement has been received from the wireless device in response to the second acknowledgement request; and in response to a determination that the second acknowledgement has been received within a second predetermined time period, retransmitting the first SMS message to the wireless device.

Proactive and reactive management for devices in a network
The disclosed technology includes a health engine that monitors and modifies customer-premises equipment (CPE) devices. The health engine can detect patterns in CPE device behavior, identify problems with CPE devices, and adjust CPE device configurations proactively or reactively to address problems or prevent problems. In some implementations, the health engine can instruct a CPE device or gateway to restart, update its software or firmware, notify a user of the CPE device of an unhealthy behavior pattern in a CPE device. The health engine can modify a CPE device prior to a user using the device or when the CPE device is inactive.
Location-based messaging system
Systems and methods for managing location-based messaging are provided. The location-based messaging may occur between users within a particular venue. A location-based messaging system may facilitate messaging between event attendees and service personnel at the venue, such as during times of emergency or other times when the location of one user is to be sent to and used by another user.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION ENHANCED WITH METADATA
There are disclosed devices, methods, and systems for electronic communication enhanced with visual indicators of metadata. Metadata is received from a plurality of disparate sources, the metadata reflective of at least one of location, social connectedness, biomechanics, mood, and health and wellness states of an individual with whom a user is engaging in electronic communication. A visual representation of the metadata is generated, the visual representation including a plurality of visual indicators of the states. A user interface for electronic communication with the individual is presented, the user interface including the visual representation of the metadata. While the user is engaging in electronic communication with the individual, updated metadata from at least one of the disparate sources is received, and the user interface is updated to reflect the updated metadata.
Dynamic message processing and aggregation of data in messaging
A network device (e.g., a user's mobile phone) may be used to make a telephone call to a landline telephone associated with a client device (e.g., a business's device). If the telephone call is terminated, either the network device or the client device may generate a text message to the other and establish a communication session. The client device may present a variety of options to the network device of service requests that may be completed by text message. The network device may transmit the service request and the service request may be fulfilled by the client.
