The solution is as follows: A first device generates a first unified identity, where the first unified identity is used by the first device to request first service content of a target service from a service server, and the first service content is used to generate or update historical service information corresponding to the first unified identity. The first device sends the first unified identity to a second device after establishing a short-range wireless connection to the second device, where the first unified identity is further used by the second device to request second service content of the target service from the service server, the second service content is determined based on the historical service information, and the second service content is continuous with the first service content.
