20230232223 · 2023-07-20 ·

Systems and methods for routing messages are disclosed herein. The methods can include maintaining, at a computing system, a plurality of completion rates, wherein each completion rate is associated with a communication network. The methods can also include receiving, from a service provider, a request to authenticate an end user of the service provider, generating an authentication message, and selecting, based on the maintained completion rates, a communication network from a plurality of communication networks. The methods can further include transmitting the authentication message to a device associated with the end user using the selected communication network, receiving an indication that the end user performed an action in response to receiving the authentication message, determining whether the end user has been authenticated based on the end user’s action, and updating the maintained completion rate associated with the selected communication network based on the determination.

POWER CONSUMPTION OPTIMIZATION OF USER EQUIPMENT IN A 5G NETWORK BASED ON RCL MODULATION OF PACKETS

A method for power-savings of UE operating within a 5G network. Transmission requirement data of logical channels for application-level data are collected from SDAP, including logical channel ID, application ID, and QCI indexing information. A list of logical channels with QCI indexing for permissible delay of packets is created. The logical channels of the list are mapped to related RLC channels. Responsive to receipt of a packet by a RLC multiplexing layer, the RLC channel ID from a SARQ packet is mapped to the list of permissible transmission delay logical channels of packets. responsive to a match between the RLC channel ID and the logical channels of the list, the packet is saved to an RLC data structure in allocated memory, and responsive to receipt of a time-critical packet, the time-critical packet, and the saved packet are submitted to a MAC carrier controller for transmission processing.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING ROUTING DATA BASED ON EXPLICIT CONGESTION NOTIFICATIONS AND ACTIVE QUEUE MANAGEMENT ENABLED NETWORK DEVICES

A device may receive explicit congestion notification data associated with user devices connected to a network of network devices, and may receive network data identifying network metrics associated with the network devices. The device may generate an active queue management mapping table based on utilizing a model to process the explicit congestion notification data and the network data. The device may determine, based on the active queue management mapping table and the network data, a routing table that includes routing data identifying traffic paths with active queue management enabled network devices and without non-active queue management enabled network devices of the network devices. The device may provide the routing table to the network devices.

Gateway selection method
11496961 · 2022-11-08 · ·

A method for selecting at least one gateway in a set of gateways for relaying data received from a server and intended for each endpoint in a group of endpoints, each endpoint in group communicating with the server via at least one gateway in the set of gateways, the group of endpoints and the set of gateways forming a LoRa network, each gateway receiving data intended for at least one endpoint retransmitting data to each endpoint for which data are intended in a frame in accordance with the LoRaWAN protocol. The method includes: selecting a subset of gateways of the set of gateways enabling the server to communicate with each endpoint group of minimum size, the selected subset minimising a risk of the data sent by the server and relayed by each gateway of subset being lost because of collisions between frames relaying data sent by the gateways of subset.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for support response-based resource management. A UE may determine an uplink response to be transmitted in response to a downlink transmission by a first TRP participating in CoMP to the UE with a second TRP. The first UE may select which of the first TRP or the second TRP to transmit the uplink response to, based at least in part on the determined uplink response and may transmit the uplink response to the selected first or second TRP.
