METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DOWNLINK CHANNEL FROM MULTIPLE TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION POINTS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed are a method and device for transmitting/receiving a downlink channel from multiple transmission/reception points in a wireless communication system. A method for a terminal to receive a downlink channel in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: receiving a downlink control channel on the basis of two or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states associated with one or more control resource sets (CORESETs); and receiving a downlink data channel on the basis of the two or more TCI states associated with one or more CORESETs, on the basis of TCI information not being included in downlink control information (DCI) received through the downlink control channel, wherein the two or more TCI states may be mapped to the downlink data channel on the basis of a prescribed mapping scheme.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UPLINK TRANSMISSION REGARDING MULTIPLE PANELS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), the UE receives one or more uplink grants scheduling a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission on a first serving cell. The first uplink transmission is associated with a first Timing Advance (TA). The second uplink transmission is associated with a second TA. The first uplink transmission at least partially overlaps with the second uplink transmission in time domain. Based on a comparison of a TA difference, between the first TA and the second TA, with a first threshold, the UE transmits at least one of the first uplink transmission or the second uplink transmission.
Technique for performing clear channel assessments in a wireless communication network
An aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a network node for performing communication in a wireless communication network. The network node is configured to receive a signal transmitted by a user device in the wireless communication network, measure a received power level at which the signal is received by the network node, determine, based on a predefined transmit power level of the network node, based on a predefined transmit power level of the user device and based on the received power level, a threshold power level for a clear channel assessment to be performed by the user device, and trigger transmitting an indication of the threshold power level to the user device. Further aspects of the disclosure pertain to a user device, methods and a computer program product.
Applicable time for MAC-CE based path loss reference signal (PL RS) update
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for determining application timing for path loss reference signals (PL RS). For example, the application timing is determined by determining an applicable time for a medium access control control element (MAC-CE) based PL RS for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and other uplink transmissions. A user equipment (UE) may receive a MAC-CE indicating a PL RS update and determine the applicable time for applying the PL RS update based on one or more conditions. The applicable time may be a period after acknowledgement of the MAC-CE or correspond to a certain measurement sample of a new PL RS a period after acknowledgement of the MAC-CE. The one or more conditions may relate to a total configured number of PL RS for the UE, whether a MAC-CE based PL RS activation feature is enabled, among others.
MAC CE FOR CONFIGURING PATHLOSS REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR PUSCH
Methods and apparatuses for configuring PUSCH pathloss reference signal for SRI PUSCH power control are disclosed. A method comprises configuring PUSCH pathloss reference signal for one or more SRI PUSCH power controls by using a MAC CE, and transmitting a PDSCH carrying the MAC CE.
Open loop feedback power control for multicast transmissions
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one example, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a control message scheduling a multicast transmission, and the UE may identify an open loop power control parameter for transmitting acknowledgment feedback responsive to the multicast transmission. The identification of the open loop power control parameter may be based on the transmission being multicast to a plurality of UEs, and in some cases a UE may identify an open loop power control parameter that is different than an open loop power control parameter associated with feedback responsive to unicast transmissions. In various examples, open loop power control parameters may correspond to respective feedback resources (e.g., according to a configuration for a set of open loop power control parameters), or to respective physical resource indicators (e.g., as signaled in downlink control information).
BEAM-SPECIFIC VIRTUAL POWER HEADROOM REPORTING
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a virtual power headroom report (PHR) that is based at least in part on a beam-specific pathloss reference signal (PLRS). The UE may receive, from the base station, a downlink transmission based at least in part on the virtual PHR. Numerous other aspects are described.
Uplink information transmission method and apparatus
This application provides an uplink information transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a value of a power control parameter in a value set of the power control parameter, where any value set of the power control parameter includes at least two values; sending indication information to a terminal device, where the indication information is used to indicate the value of the power control parameter; and receiving uplink information, where the uplink information is from the terminal device at a transmit power adjusted based on the value of the power control parameter.
Methods for performing power control in new radio (NR) systems
The disclosed method and an apparatus are directed to determine an uplink transmission power in New Radio (NR) systems by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for transmitting at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), using multiple beams toward multiple Tx/Rx points (TRPs). The method includes determining common parameters that are common to the multiple beams. The method also includes determining beam-specific parameters like a configurable fractional power compensation factor for each beam, and a configurable maximum transmit power level for each beam, which are determined dynamically or semi-statically based on deployment, WTRU mobility, or interference level. The method further includes transmitting at least one codeword using at least one of the multiple beams, each of the multiple beams having a transmission power calculated based on the common parameters and the beam-specific parameters.
Sidelink power control
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently performing and reporting reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements. In particular, the techniques described herein may allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify reference signals on which to perform RSRP measurements (e.g., based on signaling from a base station), identify when to report RSRP measurements (e.g., aperiodically, periodically, or semi-persistently), and identify a channel on which to report RSRP measurements (e.g., a sidelink channel or an uplink channel). In addition, the techniques described herein may also allow a UE to efficiently identify open loop parameters to use to determine an appropriate transmit power for transmitting to another UE over a sidelink.
