METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACQUIRING COMMUNICATION SERVICES
A method disclosed herein includes registering, by a UE, with a same PLMN over a 3GPP access and a non-3GPP access. The method includes receiving, by the UE, a notification message from a CN of the PLMN over the non-3GPP access, in response to at least one communication service pending to be delivered to the UE over the 3GPP access. The method includes sending, by the UE, a notification response message to the CN over the non-3GPP access, in response to the received notification message. In order to avoid delay in acquiring downlink communication services, the method includes triggering, by the UE, the registration procedure with the CN to receive communication services over the 3GPP access in response to the UE entering the coverage of the 3GPP access.
METHOD FOR ERROR HANDLING IN A CELLULAR SYSTEM, NETWORK DEVICE, USER EQUIPMENT, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT THEREFORE
It is presented a method for error handling during a Mobile Terminated, MT, call to a User Equipment, UE, in a cellular system. The method is performed by a network device being an alternative Mobility Management Entity, MME, of the cellular system. The method comprises the steps of: failing to forward a paging request to a serving MME, at which the UE is registered; and paging the UE using a Circuit Switched, CS, paging. A corresponding network device, User Equipment, computer program and computer program product are also presented.

Method and apparatus for transmitting indication signaling, method and apparatus for receiving indication signaling, network side device, and user equipment
A method and an apparatus for transmitting indication signaling, a method and an apparatus for receiving indication signaling, a network side device and user equipment are provided. The method includes: transmitting indication signaling on a target physical resource or a target downlink control channel, wherein the indication signaling includes monitoring information for at least one UE, and the monitoring information includes at least one of: first indication information, used to indicate an activity state for at least one subsequent discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle; second indication information, used to indicate a DRX parameter configuration for the at least one subsequent DRX cycle; third indication information, used to indicate monitoring information of a downlink control channel to be monitored; fourth indication information, used to indicate a monitoring state in at least one subsequent paging occasion.
FAST CONNECTION RELEASE AFTER PAGING RESPONSE
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station associated with a first radio access network (RAN) may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a paging message while the UE is operating in an inactive or idle mode on the first RAN and while the UE is operating in a connected mode on a second RAN. The UE may transmit a response rejecting the paging message to the base station associated with the first RAN, and the response may include information that causes the base station to release the UE to the inactive or idle mode. Accordingly, the base station may transmit, to the UE, a radio resource control message that includes information to release the UE to the inactive or idle mode on the first RAN. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Tracking area planning
A method is disclosed for improved tracking area planning and handling, comprising: assigning a single tracking area code to a plurality of eNodeBs at a messaging concentrator gateway, the messaging concentrator gateway situated in a network between the plurality of eNodeBs and the core network; storing, at the messaging concentrator gateway, at least one indicator of a last known location of a user equipment (UE) other than the single tracking area code; receiving a paging message from the core network at the messaging concentrator gateway for a UE; and performing a paging sequence using the at least one indicator to identify a set of eNodeBs to page the UE, thereby allowing larger tracking area list sizes to be used without increasing signaling traffic between the radio access network and the core network.

MULTI-PLMN MUSIM FOR TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including a computer program code, the at least one memory and computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: at a user equipment, the user equipment having a first universal subscriber identity module, USIM, associated with a first network and at least one second USIM associated with a second network, provide an indication from the at least one second USIM to the second network that paging notifications for the second network are to be provided to the first USIM of the user equipment via the first network, receive a paging notification for the second network at the first USIM of the user equipment via the first network and provide the paging notification from the first USIM to the second USIM in the user equipment.
System enablers for multi-sim devices
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for enhancement of multi-SIM devices, such as UE 106. A network may increase paging retries for known MU-SIM devices, e.g., based on an indication of capabilities from a MU-SIM device. The indication may be via a NAS registration request, an RRC capability procedure, and/or an RRC UE assistance procedure. Additionally, a network may include an indication of a paging priority to the UE. The UE may then determine a response to the page based, at least in part, on the indicated priority. Further, the UE may indicate a tune-away to the network. The indication of the tune-away may include a cause and/or duration for the tune-away and may be provided at an RRC level or a network access stratum (NAS) level.
Communication coordination and collision mitigation for multi-subscriber identity module
This disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for coordinating communication and avoiding and/or mitigating collisions for multi-subscriber identity module devices in a wireless communication system. A wireless device may coordinate communication associated with different subscriber identity modules and/or may mitigate collisions between communications associated with different subscriber identity modules. A network may provide information to improve coordination and/or mitigate collisions. A network may adjust paging schedules and/or provision of alert messages to improve coordination.
