METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MBS CONFIGURATION AND RECEPTION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Provided is a method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method including receiving multicast and broadcast service (MBS) information from a base station, identifying an MBS service that the UE desires to receive from the base station, based on the MBS information, transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) connection setup request message for the identified MBS service to the base station, based on a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) of the identified MBS service included in the MBS information, receiving RRC connection setup information from the base station, and receiving, from the base station, data corresponding to the identified MBS service, wherein the TMGI of the identified MBS service includes access category information for controlling access to the base station.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE
This application provides for a data transmission method, an apparatus, and a device. The method may be applied to a relay communication system. The method includes a first network device that receives a first data packet. The first data packet is a data packet of a first multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS), and the first data packet carries first information. When second information of the first network device matches the first information, the first network device sends the first data packet to a terminal device that accesses the first network device. The second information is preconfigured for the first network device. In this way, the MBMS is transmitted in the relay communication system.
MULTICAST-BROADCAST USER SERVICE ARCHITECTURE
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a multicast-broadcast user service description message. The UE may communicate, using a multicast-broadcast service (MBS) transport function (MBSTF) client, with an MBS entity of the network entity, in accordance with information included in the user service description message, wherein the MBS entity is split into a multicast delivery function and a unicast application server. Numerous other aspects are described.
Managing client devices on access points
An access point configured to manage client devices connected to the access point. The access point initiates an operational change. The access point generates an announcement to be included in a network frame based on the operational change. The announcement includes at least a list of neighboring access points with which the client devices can connect to and a first time period by which the client devices must connect to at least one neighboring access point included in the list of neighboring access points. The access point broadcasts the network frame to the client devices. Upon expiration of the first time period, the access point disassociates client devices that remain connected to the access point.
METHOD FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a method for sidelink communication. The method includes: a first terminal device acquires a first sidelink resource reserved for a second terminal device; and the first terminal device sends information of the first sidelink resource to the second terminal device to enable the second terminal device to acquire the first sidelink resource according to the information of the first sidelink resource. In the method of the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first terminal device can acquire the first sidelink resource reserved for the second terminal device according to resource occupation of a region where the first terminal device is located, and the second terminal device sends data according to the first sidelink resource reserved for it.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR SELECTING RADIO BEARER MODE FOR MULTICAST BROADCAST SERVICES
The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for selecting a radio bearer mode for multicast broadcast services (MBS). The method includes informing a radio access network (RAN) that a user equipment (UE) is receiving/interested to receive or no longer receiving/interested to receive multicast broadcast service (MBS) services via a cast mode. The method includes sending, by the UE, MBS interest information to the RAN, the MBS interest information comprising a list of MBS services of interest.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTIVE CONNECTION ESTABLISHMENT FOR A BROADCAST-MULTICAST SERVICE IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for selective connection establishment for a broadcast-multicast service in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives bandwidth information for a broadcast-multicast service. A wireless device determines whether a connection to receive the broadcast-multicast service is required or not, based on the bandwidth information. A wireless device receives the broadcast-multicast service based on the determination.
INDIVIDUAL DELIVERY OF LOCATION-BASED MULTICAST SERVICES
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for individual delivery of location-based multicast services are provided. One method may include receiving, by a session management node, information that a user equipment is participating in a multicast session, determining that the UE is served by a radio access node that does not support multicast sessions, and determining that the multicast session is only to be delivered to one or several service areas. In response to determining that the UE is served by a radio access node not supporting multicast and that the multicast session is only to be delivered to one or several service areas, the method further comprises subscribing to at least one notification from at least one access and mobility management node.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FLOW CONTROL
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a first node in a wireless communication system, including receiving, from a second node, downlink user data through a first radio bearer, the downlink user data including multicast service data; transmitting, to at least one UE, the downlink user data through a second radio bearer; and transmitting, to the second node, a downlink data delivery status including PDCP sequence number information, wherein the PDCP sequence number information includes a higher PDCP sequence number between a highest PDCP sequence number successfully delivered in sequence associated with a first transmission mode and a highest PDCP sequence number transmitted to lower layers associated with a second transmission mode.
