Geographical radio availability as a service
Some methods enable a computer to receive location information from a device and determine a coverage region for the device. The device's coverage region is the area within range of a wireless signal coming from the device. The computer can determine that part of the device's coverage region covers part of a specified region and instruct the device to provide wireless access to a network associated with the first region.
METHOD BY WHICH RELAY COMMUNICATION UE EFFICIENTLY SUPPORTS REMOTE UE IN CONFIGURATION UPDATE
One embodiment of the present specification relates to a method by which a relay UE performs communication, comprising the steps of: receiving, from an access and mobility management function (AMF), a UE configuration update command message including information for requesting registration of the relay UE; transmitting, to a remote UE, a message indicating suspension of a PC5 connection; receiving, from the remote UE, a message indicating that the PC5 connection has been completely suspended; transmitting, to the AMF, a UE configuration update complete message in response to the UE configuration update command message; performing a registration procedure with the AMF; and resuming the PC5 connection with the remote UE.
Commit sets in a Kubernetes environment
Techniques are disclosed for performing operations in a distributed computing environment comprising a plurality of computing devices implementing a Kubernetes environment. An indication is received of one or more custom resources of the Kubernetes environment. The custom resources are grouped into a commit set. The commit set is defined as an atomic unit which either succeeds or fails atomically. It is determined that at least one of the custom resources has failed to complete. In response to the determination, the custom resources of the commit set are reverted to a previous consistent state.
Uplink signaling for cooperative multipoint communication
A method of operating a wireless communication system is disclosed (FIG. 6). The method includes receiving a virtual cell identification (VCID) parameter (600) from a remote transmitter. A base sequence index (BSI) and a cyclic shift hopping (CSH) parameter (604,606) are determined in response to the VCID. A pseudo-random sequence is selected in response to the BSI and CSH (610,612). A reference signal is generated using the selected pseudo-random sequence (614).
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CONFIGURING A BLE ADVERTISING BEACON
A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided in order to provide improvements in the configuring of Bluetooth low energy (BLE) advertising beacons. Embodiments of the present invention are directed to conveniently and reliably configuring or updating the configuration of a BLE beacon, while limiting the amount of technical information and/or tools required. A method is provided comprising: receiving a data stream encoded in a flickering barcode from a programming device; decoding, using a processor, the received data stream; and configuring a BLE beacon advertisement using the decoded data stream. The method may further include transmitting the configured BLE beacon advertisement. A corresponding apparatus and a computer program product are also provided.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An information processing method is provided for a mobile terminal. The method includes obtaining a first identity identifier assigned to a terminal by a network side; in response to loading the first identity identifier and, from a plurality of identity identifiers of the terminal, determining a second identity identifier as an identity identifier of the terminal in a first operation state; obtaining, based on the second identity identifier, information used for registering and connecting with a second communication network; establishing a data connection between the first identity identifier and the first communication network; and on the data connection established between the first identity identifier and the first communication network, registering with the second communication network using the information for registering and connecting with the second communication network.
TECHNIQUES AND APPARATUSES FOR ACCESSING A HEADER-COMPRESSED BROADCAST TRANSMISSION
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a mobile device may receive configuration information, associated with configuring a state of the mobile device, via a unicast transmission, and may access a header-compressed broadcast transmission using the configuration information received via the unicast transmission. In some aspects, a network entity may transmit configuration information, to facilitate decompression of a header-compressed broadcast transmission, via a unicast transmission to a mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices, and may transmit the header-compressed broadcast transmission to the plurality of mobile devices in accordance with the configuration information.
GENERIC SERVICE REQUEST PROCEDURE IN A MULTIMODE SYSTEM
Generic service request signaling is defined where a multimode terminal is allowed to request any service that it supports in any of the modes (e.g., access technology like GERAN/UTRAN/CDMA2000/Bluetooth/WLAN/ . . . ) supported by the terminal. The network may then decide to move the terminal to other system if possible and necessary in order to establish the service. Mostly existing terminal capability indication for each system mode is used.
Overheating protection method for user equipment, device, user equipment, and base station
An overheating protection method for user equipment includes: sending a first signaling to a base station, the first signaling carrying indication information indicating that the user equipment has a capability of reporting a temporary capability of the user equipment; receiving a second signaling returned by the base station in response to the first signaling; and when the user equipment is overheated due to a wireless link configuration being too high, sending a third signaling for adjusting the wireless link configuration to the base station, the third signaling carrying assistance information indicating the base station to solve an overheating problem of the user equipment.
Method for activating service based on user scenario perception, terminal device, and system
A method for providing a service based on a user scenario, a terminal device, and a system. The terminal device perceives the user scenario with low power consumption, and a cloud-side service open platform determines a corresponding scenario package based on the user scenario, where the scenario package includes a plurality of pre-orchestrated services for the user scenario. The service open platform pushes data related to the determined scenario package to the terminal device, and the terminal device displays entry interfaces of the plurality of services, and provides a corresponding service based on an operation performed by a user on the entry interface.
