5G BANDWIDTH PART CONFIGURATION METHOD IN CBRS FIXED WIRELESS ACCESS NETWORK
Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, and apparatus for allocating resources in a 5G network comprising Citizens Broadband Radio Service Device (CBSD) nodes configured for communicating via granted spectrum with customer premises equipment (CPE) supporting wireless access points (WAPs) and the like, wherein an initial small bandwidth part (BWP) is assigned to each CPE, a BWP update process provides to a policy control function a list of devices/capabilities consuming CPE bandwidth so that the PCF may calculate a new bandwidth requirement for the CPE, the new requirement being used by the CPE to generate a CPE UE capability information message for the CBSD node, the CBSD node assigning an appropriately sized BWP for the CPE.
Method for transmitting and receiving signals in wireless communication system and device therefor
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting and receiving channel quality information in a wireless communication system for supporting a Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) and a device therefor and, more particularly, the method comprising: transmitting and receiving a random access preamble; transmitting and receiving a random access response on the basis of the random access preamble; and transmitting and receiving channel quality information via a narrowband physical uplink shared channel (NPUSCH) on the basis of the random access response, wherein when the random access preamble is transmitted and received on the basis of a narrowband physical downlink control channel (NPDCCH) order in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state, the channel quality information is measured on the basis of a UE-specific search space (USS) set in the RRC connected state.
Method and apparatus for detecting that a device is immersed in a liquid
A method comprising: receiving, by an electronic device, a first signal having a first frequency; identifying, by the electronic device, at least one of a strength of the first signal or a signal-to-noise ratio of the first signal; outputting, by the electronic device, a second signal having a second frequency that is different from the first frequency, the second signal being output based on at least one of the strength of the first signal or the signal-to-noise ratio of the first signal; receiving the second signal by the electronic device; and detecting whether the electronic device is at least partially immersed in a liquid based on the received second signal.
CONTROL METHOD FOR WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER APPARATUS CONSIDERING INTERFERENCE IN WIRELESS POWERED COMMUNICATION NETWORKS, AND WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER APPARATUS
Provided are a control method for a wireless power transfer apparatus considering interference in wireless powered communication networks, and a wireless power transfer apparatus. The control method of the wireless power transfer apparatus includes: performing, by at least one wireless power transfer apparatus, a distributed coordination function (DCF) based contention process with at least one wireless communication terminal; and transmitting, by the wireless power transfer apparatus which won in the DCF based contention process, an energy frame to the at least one wireless communication terminal.
SCHEDULING REQUEST RESOURCE CONFIGURATION
There is disclosed a method of operating a user equipment in a radio access network. The user equipment is configured with a reference time resource available, in one or more slots, for transmission of a scheduling request by the user equipment, the reference time resource includes a reference symbol R, wherein each of the one or more slots has a slot duration that is based on a number N of symbols in the slot. The user equipment is further configured with a requesting periodicity P indicating a periodicity with a time period shorter than the slot duration. The method includes transmitting a scheduling request message at a request transmission symbol T which is based on the reference symbol R and the periodicity P. The disclosure also pertains to related methods and devices.
CONFIGURING WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS AND AN ADVERTISING EVENT ACCORDING TO MULTIPLE COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS
A method for communicating between a combo-endpoint device, wireless router, and a wireless communication device includes monitoring communication patterns of wireless data communications between a wireless router and radio-communication circuitry of a combo-endpoint device, and storing data indicative of communication times of the wireless router based on the monitored communication patterns. The method further includes configuring a frequency-hopping based protocol by defining connection periods according to time windows and selected frequencies for wireless communication of data between the wireless communication device and the radio-communication circuitry, and by establishing the time windows and time intervals for an advertisement event which do not substantially conflict with the communication times of the wireless router.
Portable computing device for wireless communications and method of operation
In one embodiment of the present invention, a portable computing device for wireless communications comprises a first network interface for communicating with a public wireless wide area network (WWAN), a second network interface for communicating with a private wireless local area network (WLAN), and a processor executing under control of software instructions, the software instructions defining a gateway protocol, the gateway protocol establishing the portable computing device as an access point within the private WLAN after the wireless presence on the public WWAN is established.
Spectrum access for fixed LTE user equipment
Spectrum access allocation processes and systems are described in which multiple tiers of predetermined transmission powers are enforced, and where access is established by transmission at or below the lowest predetermined transmission power. The allocation processes include provisioning a wireless interface between a spectrum access system and a user equipment that is not registered with the spectrum access system. The wireless interface permits data transfer at or below a first predetermined power setting. A request to register the user equipment with the spectrum access system is transmitted to a spectrum access server. The spectrum access server receives a message from the spectrum access server indicating that the user equipment has been registered with the spectrum access system. The user equipment is controlled to transmit data at a second predetermined power setting that is greater than the first predetermined power setting.
SOUND OUTPUT DEVICE
Favorable recognizability of audio output from a sound output device and external sound is secured, and discomfort caused in a mounted state is reduced. The sound output device includes: a housing in which a speaker is arranged; and a sound introduction hook in which an internal space is provided as a sound introduction space for introducing audio output from the speaker, one end portion is connected to the housing, and audio introduced through the sound introduction space is emitted through an opening of the other end portion, the sound introduction hook is mounted on a root portion of an auricle, and the other end portion of the sound introduction hook is not in contact with an ear. With this, audio output from the speaker is transmitted to a user via the sound introduction hook, and the sound introduction hook is mounted in a state in which the other end portion having the opening through which audio is emitted is not in contact with the ear. Therefore, it is possible to secure favorable recognizability of audio output from the sound output device and external sound and reduce discomfort caused in a mounted state.
