APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VERIFYING AUTHENTICITY OF A BACKHAUL-RADIO LINK FAILURE
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Embodiments herein provide an apparatus and method for verifying authenticity of a BH-RLF. A method is provided for using a new message to verify the authenticity of the BH-RLF. A method is provided for using existing and/or message over an F1AP and an RRC to verify the authenticity of the BH-RLF. A method is provided for using a hash based procedure for protection of the BH-RLF indication. A method is provided for generating a unique secret key at an parent IAB node and a child IAB node to protect the BAP control messages. Further, a method is provided for re-using ICMP ping messages to check the destination availability based on a received BH-RLF indication.
METHOD FOR RELAYING UNSTRUCTURED TRAFFIC, AND RELAY UE
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for operating in relay user equipment (UE). The method may comprise the steps of: receiving a communication request message directly from a first remote UE; performing a procedure for establishing an access and mobility management function (AMF) entity and a protocol data unit (PDU) session; and storing mapping information between an identifier of a PCS link with the first remote UE and an identifier of the PDU session on the basis of the PDU session being established for an unstructured PDU session type for unstructured traffic.
COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD AND RELAY NODE
A communication control method according to a first aspect is a method used in cellular communication system including a relay node for relaying communication between a base station and user equipment. The communication control method includes the steps of: broadcasting, by the base station managing a cell belonging to a Non-Public Network (NPN), a system information block including an NPN identifier identifying the NPN to the cell; receiving, by the relay node, the system information block from the base station; and determining, by the relay node, whether an access from the relay node to the cell is permitted, based on the system information block.
Method and Device for Resource Allocation and Release in Wireless Sidelink Communication
This disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless sidelink resource allocation for a user equipment (UE) assisted by an anchor UE. Various mechanisms are disclosed for handling releasing of the anchor UE initiated by either the anchor UE or the assisted UE, and for handling sidelink resources already allocated to the UE by the anchor UE prior to the release. Additional mechanisms are disclosed for using an anchor UE to assist in allocating sidelink resources to multiple UEs configurable in a shared manner or non-shared manner.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides a communication method and apparatus. One example method comprises: obtaining, by a first communication apparatus, a first service that is to be sent from the first communication apparatus to a second communication apparatus; determining, by the first communication apparatus, a second quality of service (QoS) parameter based on the first service, wherein the second QoS parameter indicates a QoS requirement for sending the first service from the first communication apparatus to the second communication apparatus; sending, by the first communication apparatus, the second QoS parameter to a first relay communication apparatus, wherein the first relay communication apparatus is a relay communication apparatus between the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus; and receiving, by the first communication apparatus, a third QoS parameter from the first relay communication apparatus, wherein the third QoS parameter is used to determine a QoS parameter corresponding to the first service on a first link, and the first link is a link between the first communication apparatus and the first relay communication apparatus.
Relaying protocol in a cellular telecommunications network
An application method implemented by a device desiring to be an applicant for relaying data between an object and a base station in a cellular network, the object and the device being synchronized and connected to the base station. The device emits a request, over a random-access channel, to request resources of the network to relay the data, the request including an identifier of the object. If the base station selects a device from among the applicant devices, it allocates resources in the network for this device and sends a positive response to the selected device.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method for communication is applied to a first terminal, and includes: obtaining a notification message sent by a network device, the notification message being used for notifying a determined collaborative terminal, and the collaborative terminal being a second terminal different from the first terminal; and determining, based on the notification message, the second terminal for assisting the first terminal in transmitting data. The examples of the disclosure can effectively improve the coverage performance.
SERVING CELL RAT ACQUISITION AND INDICATION METHODS AND APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES
A method and apparatus for acquiring a Radio Access Technology (RAT) of a serving cell, a method and apparatus for indicating a RAT of a serving cell, and devices are provided. The method for acquiring a RAT of a serving cell includes: receiving RAT indication information from the relay device, wherein the RAT indication information indicates RAT information of the serving cell where the relay device is located; determining, based on the RAT indication information, a RAT type adopted by a base station to which the serving cell belongs; and communicating with the base station using the RAT appropriate to the RAT type adopted by the base station.
TRANSMITTING SIDELINK CSI USING AN UPLINK CHANNEL
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmitting SL CSI using an uplink channel. One apparatus includes a transceiver that receives a first SL-CSI value from a RX UE via one of a plurality of unicast links. The apparatus includes a processor that generates a SL-CSI report comprising the first SL-CSI value, wherein the first SL-CSI value is tagged with an identifier that identifies the RX UE. The processor controls the transceiver to transmit the SL-CSI report using an uplink channel.
RELAY DEVICE SELECTION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
The present application relates to the field of wireless communications, and in particular to a relay device selection method and device, and a computer storage medium, which are used for selecting a relay device for a remote device. In the embodiments of the present application, a remote device determines channel quality information of a first sidelink between the remote device and at least one candidate relay device and channel quality information of a second sidelink therebetween, and selects a relay device to be used from among the at least one candidate relay device according to the channel quality information of the first sidelink corresponding to the candidate relay device and the channel quality information of the second sidelink corresponding thereto.
