Control system for controlling a heater
The present disclosure is directed toward a control system for controlling a heater system. The control system includes a plurality of zone control circuits, at least two auxiliary controllers, and a primary controller. The zone control circuits are operable to provide power to a plurality of heater zones of the heater system and to sense performance characteristics of the zones. The auxiliary controllers are coupled to the plurality of zone control circuits to control power to the plurality of zones and to monitor operation of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics. The primary controller is coupled to the auxiliary controllers and is configured to provide an operation set-point for each of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics. The auxiliary controllers operate the zone control circuits to supply power to the heater system based on the operation set-point.
Thermal control apparatus and method
The present invention provides a heating apparatus for heating a load. The heating apparatus comprises a heater having a heating element for receiving electrical power and for converting the electrical power into heat to heat a heating surface of the heater. The heating apparatus also comprises a temperature sensor for sensing and outputting a measurement of the temperature of the heating element, a power actuator for providing the electrical power to the heating element of the heater, a power sensor for sensing and outputting a measurement of the power provided to the heating element by the power actuator, and control circuitry for controlling the power actuator to control the power delivered by the power actuator to the heating element. The control circuitry is configured to receive the temperature measurement from the temperature sensor, receive the power measurement from the power sensor, combine the temperature measurement and the power measurement, and control the power actuator in dependence upon the combined temperature measurement and power measurement. This ensures that the temperature of the heating surface is constant throughout a period when the load is applied.

The present invention provides a heating apparatus for heating a load. The heating apparatus comprises a heater having a heating element for receiving electrical power and for converting the electrical power into heat to heat a heating surface of the heater. The control circuitry is configured to receive the temperature measurement from the temperature sensor, receive the power measurement from the power sensor, combine the temperature measurement and the power measurement, and control the power actuator in dependence upon the combined temperature measurement and power measurement. This ensures that the temperature of the heating surface is constant throughout a period when the load is applied.
Control method of heat blower system
Heat blower system includes: hair dryer that has housing, fan, and heater; and program that controls hair dryer. Program has a step of obtaining at least one outdoor environment information among an outdoor temperature, an outdoor humidity, an outdoor wind speed, a day length, and an ultraviolet ray intensity. Program further has a step of calculating at least one operational condition of an air volume or an air temperature of hair dryer, based on the obtained outdoor environment information. According to the present aspect, outdoor environment information such as the outdoor temperature, the outdoor humidity, the outdoor wind speed, the day length, and the ultraviolet ray intensity can comprehensively be obtained to adjust operational conditions of hair dryer, appropriately.
Personal consumer product with thermal control circuitry
A personal consumer product having an energy emitting element in selective electrical communication with a power source is provided. Thermal control circuitry is used to isolate the energy emitting element from the power source when a temperature of the energy emitting element exceeds a threshold. The thermal control circuitry includes a primary thermal control circuit and a redundant thermal control circuit. Methods for controlling the temperature of an energy emitting element of a personal consumer product are also provided.

Aerosol Generation Device Power System
An aerosol generation device includes a power system having at least one supercapacitor and at least one battery. The power system is operable in a plurality of selectable operating modes. The aerosol generation device further includes a controller. The controller is configured to control a power flow of the at least one supercapacitor and a power flow of the at least one battery based on the selected operating mode. The plurality of operating modes includes a float mode in which a heater associated with the aerosol generation device is maintained substantially at an aerosol generation temperature. In the float mode the controller is configured to control a power flow of the power system to maintain the heater substantially at the aerosol generation temperature, and control the at least one battery to charge the at least one supercapacitor.

Method for performing heat treatment on membrane electrode assembly
Disclosed are a method of heat treating a membrane electrode assembly, in which a first membrane electrode assembly or the like is positioned between a first member and a second member and heat treatment is performed as at least one of the first member and the second member being a heating member, and also in which variation in the temperature of the membrane electrode assembly at different roll positions is decreased and interfacial bonding between the layers in the membrane electrode assembly is enhanced. Thus, the quality of the membrane electrode assembly, such as the durability and performance thereof, may be improved, the yield thereof may be increased, and the amount of heat treatment may be efficiently increased, thereby reducing costs through mass heat treatment and decreasing the rate of processing of the membrane electrode assembly.
Aerosol generating device supplying power to two heaters by using one battery
Provided is an aerosol generating device distributing and transmitting power from a battery to two heaters, wherein the aerosol generating device includes the battery, a first heater heating a first aerosol generating substrate, a second heater heating a second aerosol generating substrate, and a controller controlling power supplied from the battery to the first heater and the second heater, wherein the controller controls power to be supplied from the battery to the first heater and the second heater at different times.
