Heating device, drying device, and liquid discharge apparatus
A heating device heats a sheet to which a liquid discharge unit discharges a liquid. The heating device includes a first heater to heat the sheet that has passed through the liquid discharge unit, a vacuum conveyor to convey the sheet that has passed through the first heater while sucking the sheet, a second heater to heat the sheet being conveyed by the vacuum conveyor, and circuitry that cause the first heater to heat the sheet when sheet data regarding the sheet satisfies a predetermined condition.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF FABRICATING AN INTERCONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The invention to a method of making an interconnector assembly for electrically interconnecting solar cells, wherein the method comprises: feeding a plurality of (preferably elongated) electrical conductors that form an conductor array defining interspaces that are free from conductors; and applying at least one sheet, preferably made of electrically insulating material, to a side of the conductor array, wherein the sheet has at least one contact zone coming into contact with the conductors and intermediate portions overlapping with the interspaces of the conductor array. The invention also refers to an apparatus for fabricating an interconnector assembly for electrically interconnecting solar cells and to a rotatable heating drum.
Hot food merchandising unit with roller grill
The present invention provides single units that contain a large lower chamber, and one or more display shelves above this chamber on the inside of the unit. A roller grill or other large appliance may be provided in the lower chamber, or the chamber may be left open to display large food products or other items. The shelves may be heated for keeping foods displayed on the shelves warm; however, the shelves need not be heated for food products that do not need to be kept warm. Heating elements, lights and sensors may be adjusted using electronic controls to provide optimum temperatures inside the various chambers of the display units. Display units of the present invention allow store owners to utilize the space above a roller grill or other appliance to merchandise additional food products as opposed to requiring a separate food merchandiser to occupy additional valuable counter space. The performance of the roller grills of the present invention is improved over stand-alone roller grills, thereby reducing the potential for lost sales due to food not being sufficiently heated.
HEATING DEVICE FOR CALENDER CYLINDERS
A heating device for calender cylinders, comprising a core cylinder arranged coaxially in a cylinder adapted to support a plurality of heating elements; the core cylinder and the cylinder adapted to support the heating elements are configured to be accommodated in a fixed manner within a rotating calender cylinder; the core cylinder has an inlet for the passage of air which is adapted to make air flow and gather inside the core cylinder.
RESISTANCE HEATING COMPONENT, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, FIXING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A resistance heating component is to come into contact with and heat a fixing belt made of a heat resistant material, and is to be provided at a position away from a fixing area between which the resistance heating component and the fixing belt a recording material is held and conveyed, the resistance heating component including: a metal base material having a low heat capacity; and a resistance heating layer laminated on a front surface or a rear surface of the base material with an insulating layer interposed between the base material and the resistance heating layer.
HEATING DEVICE AND HEATING-TARGET USING APPARATUS
A heating device includes a heating roller having a resistance heat-generating layer that generates heat by passage of a current through the resistance heat-generating layer, a pressure rotating body that rotates in such a manner as to press a sheet-shaped heating target that is an object to be subjected to a heating treatment against an outer peripheral surface of the heating roller and in such a manner as to cause the heating target to pass through the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller, and an auxiliary heating unit that supplementarily heats at least an axial end region included in a heat-generating region in which heat is generated by the resistance heat-generating layer of the heating roller.
Temperature controlled conveyor pulley
An externally driven conveyor pulley with an integrated thermal control system by which the temperature of the pulley may be controlled whether the pulley is rotating or stationary. The present invention includes a rotary connection device (or plurality of such devices) designed to transfer fluid (liquid or gaseous) or electrical current into/out of a rotating object. The rotary connection device may be a slip-ring for electrical power transfer or a rotary union for liquid transfer, but any device designed to transmit fluid or electricity into a rotating object could be utilized. In one embodiment, temperature control is achieved by transmitting temperature controlled fluids through the pulley via at least one rotary connection device. In an alternative embodiment, temperature control is achieved by transmitting electricity via the rotary connection device to a temperature regulating device in the rotating object. The temperature regulating device could be any electrical heating or cooling unit.
HEATER, HEATING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A heater includes a substrate, a first heating element and a second heating element disposed on a first surface of the substrate, a temperature detection element, and a conductor. The temperature detection element is disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite the first surface of the substrate. The conductor is disposed on the second surface and connected to the temperature detection element. The first heating element has a first distance from the temperature detection element in a lateral direction of the substrate orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the substrate, and the second heating element has a second distance that is greater than the first distance from the temperature detection element in the lateral direction. As viewed in a thickness direction of the substrate orthogonal to the lateral direction and the longitudinal direction of the substrate, the conductor overlaps the first heating element and the second heating element.
Heater, heating device, and image forming apparatus
A heater includes a first heat generator and a second heat generator each of which has a hypothetical center line that divides each of the first heat generator and the second heat generator into a first section and a second section. A first conductor connects a first electrode to the first heat generator and the second heat generator. A second conductor connects a second electrode to the first heat generator and the second heat generator. A first primary connector connects the first conductor to the first section of the first heat generator. A second primary connector connects the first conductor to the second section of the second heat generator. A first secondary connector connects the second conductor to the first heat generator. A second secondary connector connects the second conductor to the second heat generator.
