Temperature Regulating Case
A temperature regulating case is provided for engaging a portable electronic device. The temperature regulating case includes a housing for engaging a portable electronic device. The housing includes at least one heating element aligned with the back of the portable electronic device for heating the electronic device when used in cool temperatures.
Electric blanket
An electric blanket includes an electric blanket body and a remote controller. The electric blanket body includes a first wireless module, a heating wire, a first power input circuit, and a first main control circuit. The remote controller includes a second main control circuit, a first function button circuit connected to the second main control circuit, a display circuit, a second wireless module, and a second power input circuit for supplying power.
Generator air gap heater
A heater that inhibits the formation of ice in an air gap separating a stationary stator and a rotatable rotor of a rotating machine. The heater includes a plurality of stringers configured to be arranged in associated winding slots of the associated stator adjacent the air gap, and extending between two ends of the heater. Each of the stringers includes two electrical resistance heating traces arranged between two electrical insulation layers that are arranged between two thermal conduction layers. The traces extend along an entire length of each of the stringers between the two ends of the heater. The traces are electrically isolated from each other.

Integrated operating room lighting and patient warming system—design and components
A patient warming system for stabilizing and/or heating and cooling a patient includes a plurality of solid-surface sections arranged for attachment to a surgical table and a warming pad layer comprising a plurality of warming pads configured for removable connection to the plurality of solid-surface sections. At least one of the plurality of solid-surface sections includes a power connector for connection to an external power source. Each warming pad of the plurality of warming pads includes a foam insulation layer, a distributed heating element layer having a warming-pad power connection for connection to the power connector, an isothermal layer, and a flexible waterproof layer. Power supplied to the warming-pad power connection of the distributed heating element layer of the respective warming pad can be used to provide a user-selected uniform temperature over the surface of the flexible waterproof layer in order to prevent hot spots.
DECORATIVE MEMBER FOR STEERING WHEEL
A decorative member for a steering wheel which is used for being attached to a resin member formed around a ring core metal of a steering wheel. The decorative member includes a base layer attached to the resin member, a design part arranged on the base layer, and a heater arranged between the design part and the base layer. The base layer may include an extraction part at an intermediate position in a longitudinal direction thereof such that a lead wire connected with the heater is led out of the extraction part.
DUAL HEATING APPARATUS
In at least some implementations, a heating apparatus includes a first temperature control source having a first substrate and a first heating element that is coupled to the first substrate, and a second temperature control source having a second substrate, and a second heating element that is coupled to the second substrate. The first and second heating elements are coupled electrically in series with one another. The first heating element may be sewn to the first substrate, and the second heating element may be sewn to the second substrate. An electrical circuit may be defined that includes a single current loop, wherein the first and second heating elements are coupled electrically in series with one another using one or more electrical connection segments.
Surface temperature-controlling device
The invention relates to a surface temperature-controlling device, in particular for use in vehicles, comprising a first air-distributing layer which has multiple air inlets extending through the first air-distributing layer and multiple air outlets extending through the first air-distributing layer, and a second air-distributing layer which fluidically connects air inlets and air outlets of the first air-distributing layer, wherein the air inlets are designed to introduce pre-heated or pre-cooled air into the second air-distributing layer, and the air outlets are designed to discharge air out of the second air-distributing layer.
Sampling for monitoring Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in surface water, groundwater and pore water
Methods of passively sampling PFAS in the environment, PFAS sorbents, apparatus and systems (apparatus plus conditions) for sampling groundwater, porewater, and surface water are described.
Warming Wrap for Cold Weather Outdoor Equipment
A system and method for providing warmth to a person, particularly a skier, in cold or inclement outdoor elements. Skiing is an outdoor winter sport where participants need to have proper clothing and equipment to stay warm in order to participate at optimal strength. Traveling on open-air lifts may cause skiers to become cold. The present disclosure provides a warming wrap that may be placed on a ski pole or other handheld device. A heating device integrated in the warming wrap transmits warmth through an outer layer whereas an insulating layer limits heat from escaping into the pole. The warming wrap contains a heating device that transmits heat from the heating layer to a person who touches the outer layer of the warming wrap. A grip layer alone or together with a fastener arrangement prevents the wrap from sliding down the pole. The preferred placement of the wrap on the pole rather than on a grip or in a glove or mitten provides the skier with better control and balance of the ski pole.
