The electrical connector includes an insulating housing having a boss portion provided on a surface of the housing, where the surface is to be in contact with the cloth, and the boss portion is inserted into the cloth; a connection terminal provided to the housing; and a conductive pad provided around the boss portion on the surface of the housing, where the surface is to be in contact with the cloth, and the conductive pad is electrically connected to the connection terminal. The conductive pad has a protrusion protruding in the same direction as the boss portion of the housing protrudes.
ELECTRONICS CIRCUIT BOARD DESIGN TOOL
Described herein is an electronics circuit board design tool. The tool includes a substantially planar non-conductive substrate adapted to be positioned on an electronics breadboard. The substrate includes a plurality of guide apertures at locations corresponding to predefined electrical inputs of the breadboard such that electronic components are able to be connected to the electronics breadboard through respective ones of the guide apertures. The tool also includes indicia printed on a surface of substrate. The indicia is indicative of the type or position of electrical connections or components to be connected with the breadboard through corresponding ones of the guide apertures.
Manufacturing apparatus for display device and method of using the same
A manufacturing method of a display device includes: loading, on a stage, a panel assembly including: a display panel drivable to display an image, and first and second printed circuit boards attached to the display panel, end portions of the first and second printed circuit boards overlapping each other; providing a jet of air to the overlapping end portion of the second printed circuit board to raise the overlapping end portion away from and expose the end portion of the first printed circuit board; fixing the raised end portion away from the exposed end portion of the first printed circuit board; pre-processing the exposed end portion of the first printed circuit board; and aligning a distal end of the pre-processed end portion of the first printed circuit board and a distal end of the end portion of the second printed circuit board.
Methods and systems for aligning a component
There is provided a method which includes placing a component on a substrate and extending an alignment member through an opening in the substrate. Once the alignment member is extended through the opening, the component is moved to abut against the alignment member to align the component relative to the substrate. After the component is aligned relative to the substrate, the component is secured to the substrate and the alignment member is retracted through the opening.
High-temperature superconducting striated tape combinations
This disclosure teaches methods for making high-temperature superconducting striated tape combinations and the product high-temperature superconducting striated tape combinations. This disclosure describes an efficient and scalable method for aligning and bonding two superimposed high-temperature superconducting (HTS) filamentary tapes to form a single integrated tape structure. This invention aligns a bottom and top HTS tape with a thin intervening insulator layer with microscopic precision, and electrically connects the two sets of tape filaments with each other. The insulating layer also reinforces adhesion of the top and bottom tapes, mitigating mechanical stress at the electrical connections. The ability of this method to precisely align separate tapes to form a single tape structure makes it compatible with a reel-to-reel production process.
CURRENT MEASURING DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRIC POWER PROTECTION SYSTEM
Current measurement devices for printed circuit board mounting are disclosed herein. The current measurement devices include a hollow and flexible core to improve response to a primary signal and decrease weight. The current measurement device includes a housing with guides to maintain alignment of the core. An electromagnetic shield may be placed between the circumference of the core and the housing. The housing may include apertures to facilitate washing. The current measurement device may include a primary conductor external to the housing.
Inverter insulator apparatus and method
Disclosed embodiments include alignment apparatuses for circuit boards, inverter assemblies, and methods for fabricating an assembly with a circuit board placed on an alignment apparatus. An illustrative apparatus includes an electrically insulative substrate having a first substantially planar surface and a second substantially planar surface forming an opposing side of the first substantially planar surface. The second substantially planar surface defines therein self-aligning features that are configured to align at least one power module pin with the electrically insulative substrate. The first substantially planar surface has at least one alignment feature configured to align a printed circuit board with the electrically insulative substrate. The apparatus also includes a routing feature coupled to the electrically insulative substrate. The routing feature is configured to route at least one low voltage conductor.
RFID TAG
An RFID tag includes an RFID IC, flexible substrates including first wiring conductors and rigid substrates including second wiring conductors. Substrate surfaces of the flexible substrates include first regions connected to the rigid substrates and second regions that include opposite surfaces and are not connected to the rigid substrates. First conductor portions and second conductor portions included in the first wiring conductors are electrically connected to each other via the second wiring conductors. The RFID IC is connected to the first wiring conductors, the second wiring conductors, or both the first wiring conductors and the second wiring conductors.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
The disclosure is directed to a printed circuit board for mechanical support and electrical connection of electrical or electronic components. The printed circuit board has conductive tracks and contact pads carved away or etched from at least one sheet layer of copper laminated onto a non-conductive substrate and has a label attached to the printed circuit board at an intended position before the assembly process. Soldering defects often occur due to the deposition of excessive amounts of solder paste on the contact pads of components adjacent to the label. To prevent soldering defects caused by incorrect solder paste application quantities by simple and inexpensive means, the printed circuit board provides the intended position of the label as a depression with respect to the surroundings thereof.
SUBSTRATE-FASTENING DEVICE AND SUBSTRATE-ASSEMBLING STRUCTURE USING SAME
