THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ANTENNA HOUSING
20230039802 · 2023-02-09 ·

An antenna housing configured to house a wireless antenna unit. The antenna housing defines an interior space sized to receive a plurality of wireless radios and/or transceivers. Inlet and outlet ducting extends through the interior of the housing from an inlet manifold to an outlet manifold to individually cool each radio. In an arrangement, the inlet manifold draws air from outside the housing and the outlet manifold exhausts air outside of the manifold.

System and method for condensation free medium voltage variable frequency drive

A temperature control system (300) for a variable frequency drive (10, 100) includes a sealed enclosure (310), a power electronic component (330) and/or a power magnetic component (320) positioned inside the sealed enclosure (310), and a controller (400) configured to control a temperature of the power electronic component (330) and/or the power magnetic component (320) relative to an internal air temperature (Tair) inside the sealed enclosure (310) prior to an electrical energy application and operation of the power electronic component (320) and/or power magnetic component (320) to prevent condensation induced electrical failure of the power electronic component (330) and/or power magnetic component (320) utilizing a cooling system (340) and/or a heating system (350).

Digital jukebox device with improved user interfaces, and associated methods

Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, to systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features and improved user interfaces. For instance, a smart search may be provided, e.g., where search results vary based on the popularity of songs within the venue, in dependence on songs being promoted, etc. As another example, a tile-based approach to organizing groupings of songs is provided. Groupings may involve self-populating collections of songs that combine centrally-promoted songs, songs in a given genre that are popular across an audiovisual distribution network, and songs that are locally popular and match up with the given genre (e.g., because of shared attributes such as same or similar genre, artist, etc.). Different tile visual presentations also are contemplated, as are different physical jukebox designs. In certain example embodiments, a sealed core unit with the “brains” of the jukebox is insertable into a docking station.

Warming Wrap for Cold Weather Outdoor Equipment
20230239971 · 2023-07-27 ·

A system and method for providing warmth to a person, particularly a skier, in cold or inclement outdoor elements. Skiing is an outdoor winter sport where participants need to have proper clothing and equipment to stay warm in order to participate at optimal strength. Traveling on open-air lifts may cause skiers to become cold. The present disclosure provides a warming wrap that may be placed on a ski pole or other handheld device. A heating device integrated in the warming wrap transmits warmth through an outer layer whereas an insulating layer limits heat from escaping into the pole. The warming wrap contains a heating device that transmits heat from the heating layer to a person who touches the outer layer of the warming wrap. A grip layer alone or together with a fastener arrangement prevents the wrap from sliding down the pole. The preferred placement of the wrap on the pole rather than on a grip or in a glove or mitten provides the skier with better control and balance of the ski pole.

Housing having cast pressure relief means

An explosion-proof housing 10 having at least one pressure relief body 15 arranged in a pressure compensation vent opening 14 of one of the housing parts 12, 13. In order to secure the pressure relief body 15 to the housing part 12, a thickened region 20 of the housing part 12 engages over an edge zone 24 of the pressure relief body 15 along its entire peripheral surface 23 on both of its flat sides 16, 17. A resulting engaging depth Si, which is measured parallel to the flat sides 16, 17, is preferably greater than a thickness D1, D2 of the part of the thickened region 20 engaging over the edge zone 24. The pressure relief element 15 consists of sintered wire mesh. This connection is pressure-resistant and stable over a wide temperature range.

The present invention discloses a thermally insulated, rigid cabinet, which comprises a top cover, four tri-layer side walls and a tri-layer base. The top cover, the four tri-layer side walls and the tri-layer base are connected with and fixed to one another by aluminum extrusion fixing assemblies. The tri-layer structure includes an inner honeycomb panel, a middle strengthening assembly and an outer wall panel. The middle strengthening assembly is formed by a plurality of horizontal tension rods and a plurality of vertical tension rods intersecting. The inner honeycomb panel has a hexagonal-celled hollow geometric structure, which confers the panel with such properties as high pressure-endurable strength, light weight, excellent rigidity and high structural stability. In addition, the hexagonal hollow cells can also make the honeycomb panel capable of better thermal insulation by preventing the air flow.
