CASING COMPONENT, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR A CASING COMPONENT
A casing component according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a decorating film and a casing part. The decorating film is formed on a base film by vapor deposition and includes a metal layer, fine cracks being formed in the metal layer by stretching the base film. The casing part has a decorated region, the decorating film being adhered to the decorated region.
COMPONENTS OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHODS FOR THEIR ASSEMBLY
Various components of an electronic device housing and methods for their assembly are disclosed. The housing can be formed by assembling and connecting two or more different sections together. The sections of the housing may be coupled together using one or more coupling members. The coupling members may be formed using a two-shot molding process in which the first shot forms a structural portion of the coupling members, and the second shot forms cosmetic portions of the coupling members.
Patterned bonded glass layers in electronic devices
An electronic device may include electrical components and other components mounted within an interior of a housing. The device may have a display on a front face of the device and may have a glass layer that forms a housing wall on a rear face of the device. The glass housing wall may be provided with regions having different appearances. The regions may be textured, may have coatings such as thin-film interference filter coatings formed from stacks of dielectric material having alternating indices of refraction, may have metal coating layers, and/or may have ink coating layers. Textured surfaces, cavities, coatings, and other decoration may be embedded in glass structures that are joined with chemical bonds at diffusion-bonding interfaces.
Portable computer monitor
A portable system for carrying a monitor and a computing device inside a case. The case can be made from two shells attached together by a hinge. A monitor can be housed in each shell, the monitors operatively connected to each other. The monitor and any other components in the first shell can be connected to the monitor and any other components in the second shell via cables fed through a conduit connecting the first shell to the second shell. The conduit is on the inside of the case to protect the cables when the case is in the closed configuration. One or both shells can further have an auxiliary door through which a thin component, such as a keyboard, tablet, laptop, and the like can be inserted into the case. One or both shells can be equipped with ports for power, and communicating and networking with other devices.
Bezel member, control method thereof and bezel device
A bezel member, a control method thereof, and a bezel device are disclosed. The bezel member includes a bezel mechanism including a fixed part and a retractable part connected to the fixed part, a detecting mechanism configured to perform neighboring object presence detection for an end portion of the retractable part and generate a detection signal based on a detection result of the neighboring object presence detection, and a control mechanism configured to control the extension and retraction of the retractable part according to the detection signal.
BRACKET, BRACKET MANUFACTURING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE, INCLUDING THE SAME
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a cover glass configured to protect a display; and a bracket, wherein the bracket includes: a first area in contact with the cover glass; and a second area extending from the first area, the first area includes a first surface layer to which a first texture and a first color are applied, the second area includes a second surface layer to which a second texture different from the first texture is applied, the first color is substantially the same color as the cover glass, and the first texture is substantially the same texture as the cover glass.
OUTER SHELL MEMBER FOR COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
Provided is an outer shell member for communication equipment, capable of enhancing metallic luster design while suppressing the generation of radio wave shielding that affects communication. A metallic tone print sheet 51 is arranged at least on a portion of an outer shell member for communication equipment including a mobile device 1 with a communication device and a protective case mounted thereon. The metallic tone print sheet 51 includes, when viewed from the front, a metallic portion equipped with a metallic reflective layer and a transmission portion not equipped with a metallic reflective layer. The metallic reflective layer is provided with a metallic concave reflective surface that is curved in a cross-section in the thickness direction of the metallic tone print sheet. The transmission portion has a radio wave permeability that transmits radio waves to the communication device.
Television cable management apparatus
A television cable management apparatus including a housing assembly and an internal compartments assembly. The housing assembly includes 3 equally spaced apart holes, a bottom and four lateral walls defining a container with opening atop. The 3 equally spaced holes are in one of the four lateral walls of the housing. The internal compartments assembly includes cutouts, cylindrical members and at least one transversal wall. The at least one transversal wall is placed in the housing defining a left compartment and a right compartment. The left compartment is used to store remote controls and the right compartment is used to organize cables. The cables go through the 3 equally spaced apart holes and rest in the cutouts. The cylindrical members are placed in an interior face of one of the four lateral walls. The cylindrical members are used to wind cables therein.
INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM HOUSING INTERIOR ILLUMINATION
An information handling system housing has an opening at one side with a transparent cover through which processing components of the information handling system are visible. A member rotationally couples in the housing interior across the opening in a spaced parallel relationship with an upper side of the opening and includes lights that direct illumination from an interior side of the member towards the processing components. In one embodiment, the member has a logo opening that passes light through to illuminate a logo, or alternatively the logo may have its own illumination to present at the front face. In an alternative embodiment, the member has a display panel that presents visual images, such as operating conditions of the processing components. The member rotates out of the interior and up above the opening upper side to provide end user access to the housing interior.
LASER-MARKED ELECTRONIC DEVICE HOUSINGS
A housing for an electronic device is disclosed. A surface of the housing includes a laser-formed marking. The marking comprises a plurality of laser-formed pixels and may include a grayscale image.
