Media Appliance and Method for Use of Same
A media appliance and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a housing is adapted to be mounted within a wall. A panel forms a front portion of the housing and the panel includes vents and the panel may be mounted substantially flush with the wall. A media player, which includes a set-top box, is disposed within the housing. A pair of ports, disposed within openings defined by the housing, are configured to receive respective connectors. The pair of ports are coupled to the media player and one port is configured for providing a connection to a television and the other port is configured for providing a connection to an external source of signal for the television, as well as power for the media player.
STRUCTURE ROTATING ON A SHAFT ENABLING WIDER RANGE OF WIRELESS FREQUENCIES
A structure containing an antenna with an orientation which can be changed when one part of a two-part structure is turned relative to the other on a rotating shaft includes first and second structures as the two parts. The second structure is rotatably connected to the first structure through the rotating shaft, and the second structure comprises an antenna plate. When the second structure is rotated relative to the first structure, the rotated antenna plate allows a wider range of wavelength frequencies within the rotation range of the second structure.
MEMORY DEVICE WITH MODULAR DESIGN AND MEMORY SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME
A memory device with modular design and the memory system comprising the same is disclosed. The memory device comprises a substrate plate having a front edge, a rear edge opposite to the front edge, and a top side and a bottom side which are opposite to each other and extend between the front edge and the rear edge; an edge connector positioned at the rear edge and configured to connect to a host connector of a host device; a memory control module positioned on one of the top side and the bottom side of the substrate plate; at least one socket positioned on the top side of the substrate plate and configured to connect to at least one removable memory module; and wherein the memory controller module is electrically coupled to the edge connector and the at least one socket such that the at least one memory module can be accessible by the host device via the memory control module.
FLASH DRIVE
A flash drive includes a main housing, a USB adapter unit mounted in the main housing and extending out of the main housing, an inner housing movably connected to the main housing, and a flash memory unit including a flash memory that is mounted in the inner housing, and a USB-A plug that is connected to the flash memory. The inner housing is operable to move, with respect to the main housing, between a USB-C position, where the USB-A plug is electrically connected to the USB adapter unit to allow for data transfer therebetween, and a USB-A position, where the USB-A plug is detached from the USB adapter unit to prevent data transfer therebetween, such that data is transferable to and from the flash memory via the USB-A plug.
Electrical connector with USB series a contact pad pitch
A male connector (100) includes a contact pad substrate (101) and a connector shell (102). The contact pad substrate (101) includes a linear array of contact pads (103a, 103b, 103c, 103d) that are adapted for aligning with corresponding contacts (103′a, 103′b, 103′c, 103′d) of a contact-bearing tongue (104′) of a corresponding female connector (100′) that conforms to a USB Series A receptacle contact pad pitch specification. The two outermost contact pads (103a, 103d) of the linear array are electrically connected together. The connector shell (102) is formed from an insulating material and comprises a tubular portion (102a) for insertion into the corresponding female connector (100′), and a handling portion (102b) for handling during insertion.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS HAVING A DOOR STRUCTURE FOR ACCESSING COMMUNICATION SOCKET
The present application discloses an electronic apparatus including an apparatus frame having an aperture; a door movably secured to the apparatus frame and configured to be movable between a first position at which the aperture is accessible and a second position at which the aperture is substantially closed; and a communication socket at least partially enclosed by the apparatus frame; the communication socket having a plurality of communication terminals configured to be accessible for electrical connection with an external apparatus through the aperture. The communication socket includes a first member, the door includes a second member, the first member and the second member being magnetically attractive to each other and cooperatively configured to secure the door in the second position.
Cellphone transfer stick
A generally rectangular shaped cellphone transfer stick that includes a casing with a distal end, a memory system that is housed within the casing that includes a flash memory that stores data and a billing coding system to ensure a user's cellphone account is properly billed, an input connector to insert into the user's cellphone and an attachment ring disposed on the casing that hangs or attaches the cellphone transfer stick to an exterior attachment device. The memory system also receives any combination of downloaded user data, one or more ring tones or one or more games from the user's broken cellphone that is transferred and downloaded onto the user's new cellphone.
USB CRADLE WITH MAGNETIC DOCKING
A universal serial bus (USB) cradle includes a USB connector configured to engage the USB cradle with an external device. The USB further includes a cradle base integrated with the USB connector. The cradle base includes a cavity configured to accept an audio device in a docked configuration, and a magnetic connector configured to hold the audio device in a given position and orientation when the audio device is docked with the USB cradle.

A USB flash drive, comprising a housing comprising internal walls defining a receiving space, at least one of the internal walls having an engagement component, a memory main body disposed in the receiving space and comprising a hook slot component, and a fastener disposed in the receiving space comprising a protrusion component and a hook component, the hook component engaged with the hook slot component of the memory main body, and the protrusion component engaged with the engagement component of the housing, thereby fastening the memory main body to the housing.
ELASTIC COVER AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An elastic cover, adapted to be disposed at a lateral side of an electronic device to cover at least a portion of a transmitting port, includes a body having two shielding sheets. Each shielding sheet includes a first portion close to the other shielding sheet and a second portion away from the other shielding sheet. A turn is formed between the first and the second portions so that a cross-section of the shielding sheet appears as a V shape. An opening of the V shape is adapted to face the lateral side. A slit is formed between the two shielding sheets and adapted to correspond to the transmitting port. A transmitting object is adapted to push the two first portions to enlarge the slit, so as to pass through the body and be plugged into the transmitting port. An electronic apparatus having the elastic cover is further provided.
