The feedthrough capacitor system (19) comprises, in particular being formed essentially by, a plurality of surface mount capacitors (41) electrically arranged between the signal conductor (17) and the shield (6), the surface mount capacitors (41) in particular being surface mounted on a circuit board (11), which may be a printed circuit board.

An electronic device including a shielding member for performing an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding function is provided. The electronic device includes a printed circuit board including a first area in which first electronic components having a first frequency as a driving frequency are mounted, and a second area in which second electronic components having a second frequency as a driving frequency are mounted, a shielding film disposed to cover the first area and the second area of the printed circuit board and attached to a first ground portion of the printed circuit board, and at least one conductive member formed to extend in a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the printed circuit board. The at least one conductive member includes a first end that contacts the shielding film, and a second end that contacts a second ground portion of the printed circuit board, the second end being disposed between the first area and the second area of the printed circuit board.

A housing has electrically conductive top and bottom parts which together form an accommodation chamber. A circuit board is arranged in the accommodation chamber. A bottom side of the circuit board is connected electrically to the top side via conductive bores. The circuit board has circuit components and electromechanical plug components for connecting to components outside the housing. A first electrically conductive separating wall electrically connects the housing top part to the top side of the circuit board. A second electrically conductive separating wall electrically connects the housing bottom part to the bottom side of the circuit board. The first and second separating walls subdivide the accommodation chamber into first and second accommodation-chamber sections that are disposed on opposite sides of the first and second separating walls. The circuit components are accommodated only in the first accommodation-chamber section and the plug components are accommodated only in the second accommodation-chamber section.

The plate left portion (82c) covers a lower surface of the heat pipe (83), the lower surface facing a side of a board shield (52), and closes a gap (G1) between a left end of the plurality of fins (81) and a left edge of the opening (52a) of the board shield (52).

The assembly may further include a shield coupled to the frame such that the shield is located between the frame and the step heat sink. The shield may include a step shield. The assembly may further include a heat pipe coupled to the step heat sink.

Apparatus and methods for mitigating electromagnetic interference in an electronic controller

An interface for mitigating electromagnetic interference (EMI) on a printed circuit board (PCB) is disclosed. The PCB can contain circuit components and includes one or more signal planes sandwiched between corresponding ground planes. The PCB has a first and second side and an interface region separating the first and second sides that includes a partition wall projecting outward from the interface region, configured for EMI shielding between the first side and second sides, one or more pairs of input and output pads straddling the interface region on respective first and second sides and configured to accommodate an EMI line filter, and a ground barrier within the printed circuit board under the interface region. A method of mitigating EMI using the interface is also disclosed.

The housing includes a stepped projection on an inner side of the side wall and/or of the rear wall. The shielding for electromagnetic compatibility includes a shielding plate, by means of which the first region is delimited from the second region. An electrical connection of the shielding plate to the side wall and/or to the rear wall is formed in that a peripheral region that delimits the shielding plate areally overlaps the stepped projection, at least along most of its length, and is fastened on it.
