Stretchable display panel and stretchable display device including the same
Disclosed herein are a stretchable display panel and a stretchable device. The stretchable display panel comprises: a lower substrate having an active area and a non-active area surrounding the active area; a plurality of individual substrates disposed on the lower substrate, spaced apart from each other and located in the active area; a connection line electrically connecting a pad disposed on the individual substrate; a plurality of pixels disposed on the plurality of individual substrates; and an upper substrate disposed above the plurality of pixels, wherein the modulus of elasticity of the individual substrates is higher than that of at least one part of the lower substrate. Accordingly, the stretchable display device according to the present disclosure may have a structure that enables the stretchable display device to be more easily deformed when a user stretches or bends the stretchable display device and that can minimize damage to the components of the stretchable display device when the stretchable display device is deformed.
ARRAY SUBSTRATE, DISPLAY PANEL, DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure is related to an array substrate. The array substrate may include a base substrate and a pixel defining layer on the base substrate. The pixel defining layer may include a plurality of thickness thinning regions. The thickness thinning regions may have a smaller height than other areas of the pixel define layer on the base substrate. The plurality of the thickness thinning regions may be configured to guide flow of fillers to form an encapsulating layer on the pixel defining layer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURING A DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
Displays, systems, and methods may be utilized in applications including, but not limited to, projectors, head-up displays, and augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR) systems or devices, such as headsets or other near-eye devices or systems. Tiled or Tile-able displays and methods, in accordance with the present invention, provide displays of varying sizes, and as such, a Tiled or Tile-able display is configured to accommodate the display size needed for various wearable and mobile devices that require or incorporate displays.
Pixel Tile Structures and Layouts
An overall displacement tolerance applicable to each pixel tile in a plurality of pixel tiles to be used as parts of an image rendering surface is determined. Each pixel tile in the plurality of pixel tiles comprises a plurality of sub-pixels. Random displacements are generated in each pixel tile in the plurality of pixel tiles based on the overall displacement tolerance. The plurality of image rendering tiles with the random displacements are combined into the image rendering surface.
ACTIVE-MATRIX TOUCHSCREEN
An active-matrix touchscreen includes a substrate, a system controller, and a plurality of spatially separated independent touch elements disposed on the substrate. Each touch element includes a touch sensor and a touch controller circuit that provides one or more sensor-control signals to the touch sensor and receives a sense signal responsive to the sensor-control signals from the touch sensor. Each touch sensor operates independently of any other touch sensor.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided in this disclosure. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a first substrate and a second substrate adjacent to the first substrate. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a plurality of organic light emitting diodes, a filter layer, and a third substrate. At least a part of the plurality of organic light emitting diodes are disposed on the first substrate. The filter layer is disposed at least on the second substrate. The third substrate is disposed corresponding to the first substrate and the second substrate. The plurality of organic light emitting diodes and the filter layer are disposed under the third substrate.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND TILING DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel; a plurality of mounting units disposed on a rear surface of the display panel; and a back cover disposed on the rear surface of the display panel and the plurality of mounting units; wherein each of the plurality of mounting units includes a panel magnet fixed to the rear surface of the display panel; and a plurality of step control units disposed on both sides of the panel magnet and configured to be movable in a direction perpendicular to one surface of the back cover. Accordingly, a step height between the display devices in a Z-axis direction can be adjusted by moving the plurality of step control units in the direction perpendicular to one surface of the back cover.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND TILING DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel; a plurality of mounting units disposed on a rear surface of the display panel; and a back cover disposed on the rear surface of the display panel and the plurality of mounting units; wherein each of the plurality of mounting units includes a panel magnet fixed to the rear surface of the display panel; and a plurality of step control units disposed on both sides of the panel magnet and configured to be movable in a direction perpendicular to one surface of the back cover. Accordingly, a step height between the display devices in a Z-axis direction can be adjusted by moving the plurality of step control units in the direction perpendicular to one surface of the back cover.

A display device including: a plurality of unit portions repeatedly arranged in a first direction and a second direction, wherein the second direction is different from the first direction; a plurality of display units respectively arranged above the plurality of unit portions; and a plurality of encapsulation layers respectively encapsulating the plurality of display units, wherein each of the plurality of unit portions includes an island where a display unit and an encapsulation layer are located, and at least one connection unit connected to the island, and islands of two unit portions adjacent to each other are spaced apart from each other, and connection units of the two unit portions adjacent to each other are connected to each other.

An electronic device including an electronic unit and a functional unit is provided. The electronic unit includes a substrate, a plurality of semiconductor components, and a cover layer. The substrate has a plurality of first side surfaces. The semiconductor components are disposed on the substrate. The cover layer is disposed on the semiconductor components and has a plurality of second side surfaces. The functional unit is disposed on at least one of at least one of the first side surfaces and at least one of the second side surfaces.
