Piezoelectric energy hunting device with lightweight design and voltage signal application system thereof
A piezoelectric energy hunting device and a voltage signal application system thereof are disclosed. The piezoelectric energy hunting device includes a plurality of curved piezoelectric elements, a plurality of rigid foams, and a flexible foam structure. The plurality of curved piezoelectric elements are arranged side by side with one another, wherein each curved piezoelectric element is attached to one of the rigid foams. The flexible foam structure includes a top foam and a bottom foam covering the outer surface of the plurality of curved piezoelectric elements and the plurality of rigid foams; when the flexible foam structure is compressed, the plurality of curved piezoelectric elements are simultaneously deformed, thereby generating a voltage signal. When the flexible foam structure is not compressed, the flexible foam structure and the plurality of rigid foams provide an elastic force to restore the plurality of curved piezoelectric elements.

An actuator assembly includes (i) a first actuator stack having a first primary electrode, a first secondary electrode overlapping at least a portion of the first primary electrode, and a first electroactive layer disposed between and abutting the first primary electrode and the first secondary electrode, (ii) a second actuator stack having a second primary electrode, a second secondary electrode overlapping at least a portion of the second primary electrode, and a second electroactive layer disposed between and abutting the second primary electrode and the second secondary electrode; and (iii) a bonding layer disposed between the first actuator stack and the second actuator stack.
Ultrasound vibration device, method of manufacturing ultrasound vibration device, and ultrasound medical apparatus
An ultrasound vibration device is provided with a stacked transducer in which a plurality of piezoelectric single crystal element layers are stacked between two metal blocks. Since each of the two metal blocks and the plurality of piezoelectric single crystal element layers is fusion-bonded relative to a stack direction by bonding metal having a melting point corresponding to half a Curie point of the plurality of piezoelectric single crystal element layers or below, it is possible to use non-lead material, reduce a processing cost and realize inexpensiveness.

A method for producing a piezoelectric stack actuator and a piezoelectric stack actuator are disclosed. To increase service life of a piezoelectric stack actuator made up of individual actuators, includes providing at least two actuators the method and designed and configured to generate a deflection along an axis (A) when electrically activated; and coupling the at least two actuators to form the stack actuator such that deflections of the actuators generated when the actuators are electrically activated are overlaid along a stacking axis (S) and there is a force-coupling of the actuators over at least one coupling area (K) that is smaller than a projection area (P) of the actuator onto a plane (E) perpendicular to the stacking axis.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING CONDUCTED AND RADIATED EMISSIONS AND SUSCEPTIBILITY
A device, system and method for protecting electronic systems from failure or damage when such systems are subjected to undesired conducted or radiated energy such as electromagnetic pulse or electromagnetic interference. The invention also reduces the amount of conducted or radiated emissions from an electronic system. A novel, non-conductive signal feedthrough allows a desired signal to be communicated with electrical connectivity. An incoming desired electrical signal is converted to vibrational energy by a piezoelectric transducer, which is communicated into the interior volume of a conductive electrical enclosure housing a system to be protected, where it is converted back to electrical for processing by the system to be protected by a second piezoelectric transducer. The signal feedthrough allows a continuous conductive enclosure to be employed, providing protection from undesired radiated energy. The signal feedthrough allows communication without requiring electrical conduction through the feedthrough, thus protecting against undesired conducted energy.

A piezoelectric motor may include a stator, a rotor rotating about a rotational axis and at least one piezoelectric element driving the rotor and maintained by the stator. Mechanical reliability and performance levels of a piezoelectric motor may be increased in that the at least one piezoelectric element may be mounted in an oscillating housing that oscillates with respect to the stator about the pivot axis.
Piezoelectric power generation
Technologies are generally described for generating electrical power from piezoelectric power. Example devices/systems described herein may use one or more of a piezoelectric device, a plurality of solid particles, and/or a container. In various examples, an electrical power generator apparatus is described, where the apparatus may be configured to provide an electrical signal upon application of a mechanical stress to the piezoelectric device. Some example apparatus may also be configured to contain the plurality of solid particles in the container, which may be coupled to at least a portion of a surface of the piezoelectric device. When a mechanical force is exerted on the plurality of solid particles, the plurality of solid particles may be effective to receive at least a portion of the mechanical force and responsively apply the mechanical stress to the piezoelectric device.
