OPTICAL WATER-QUALITY DETECTION APPARATUS
An optical water-quality detection apparatus includes a detection device, a biofilm-inhibition light source, a detection light source and a sensor. The detection device includes a detection chamber. The biofilm-inhibition light source is disposed outside the detection chamber and configured to emit biofilm-inhibition light. The detection light source is disposed outside the detection chamber and configured to emit detection light. The sensor is configured to sense the detection light penetrating the detection chamber. A beam of the detection light and a beam of the inhibition light overlaps as penetrating the detection chamber.
Sump overflow protector
A sump overflow protection system for use in a building having a floor and a drainage field for collecting water from the perimeter of the building. The sump overflow protection system includes a portion of the floor proximal an opening of a sump crock having a first level defining a base and wherein the rest of the bottom floor generally has a second level higher than the first level of the basin surface of the floor and communicates water overflowing the sump crock to an outlet coupled to a building drainage outlet separate from the sump crock and to be located in the basin surface of the floor and spaced a predetermined distance from the sump crock.
Promulgating exchange of information for an extraction rights market in a groundwater basin
An electronic newsletter distribution system useful in association with a water agency management platform provides information exchange for administering groundwater extraction rights in one or more trading-zones. The platform matches offers to trade utilization of groundwater extraction rights (GWRs), and intermediates transfers of the matched GWRs based one or more transfer rules. The system also facilitates trading of “sell order” and “buy order” in response to the water pricing and water offering information.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING CONTAMINANTS IN WATER
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus or methodology for detecting one or more contaminants and/or measuring watering quality in a water supply system, which may be installed at any place chosen by a user so as to detect the one or more contaminants and/or measure the quality of water flowing through a pipe of the water supply system, such as tap water, water purifier, drinking water storage facility, or water intake facility. The present disclosure provides numerous benefits over the existing technology including convenience of handling with ease and safe fastening and installment of the apparatus for detecting one or more contaminants and/or measuring quality of water. Furthermore, the present technology enables the monitoring of the contamination level of the water delivered in the water supply system at any time chosen by the user because the contamination can be detected and/or the water quality can be measured and monitored in a wireless environment either continuously or intermittently through a wireless communication system with a remote user device.
Remote valve reopening
An abnormal consumption detection system is provided with remote valve control for a distributed water infrastructure. The system may comprise an electronically controllable valve, a remote communication transmitter, a remote communication receiver, at least one sensor for measuring water flow information associated with the distributed water infrastructure, and at least one processor. The system may determine from the water flow information obtained from the at least one sensor a potential abnormal consumption associated with the distributed water infrastructure. The system may automatically close a valve, without human intervention, when the potential abnormal consumption is determined. The system may transmit, via the remote communication transmitter to a remote administrator, alert information about the potential abnormal consumption to enable an administrator to decide based on the transmitted information whether to reopen the valve. The system may receive from the administrator via the remote communication receiver a control signal to reopen the valve, despite the information about the potential abnormal consumption, and reopen the valve.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE
A protection device for protecting the potable water from contamination caused by backflow, comprises a housing with a potable water inlet, a first funnel, which is arranged at a distance to and aligned below the potable water inlet, and a second funnel, which is arranged at a distance to and aligned below the first conical funnel, and via which the water can be drained. An opening in the housing is formed for the discharge of the backflowing water, to which the back-flowing water can flow between the first and the second funnel.
Differentiate user by their water behavior
A system is provided for differentiating between water usage of multiple water consumers using a common distributed water infrastructure. The system receives from a water sensor that is upstream of a plurality of appliances, signals indicative of water usage, and constructs from the signals a plurality of water event profile signatures. The system associates, based on differences between similar water event profiles, at least one water event profile signature with a first water consumer and associates a second water event profile signature with a second water consumer, and stores the water event profile signatures for the first water consumer and the second water consumer. The system constructs current water event profiles reflecting subsequent water usage in the distributed water infrastructure, and attributes a first current water event profile to the first water consumer and attributes a second current water event profile to the second water consumer.
REAL-TIME DETECTION OF WATER CONTAMINANTS
Provided herein is a field-effect transistor based sensor for real-time detection of water contaminants and methods of use thereof.
SCOOTER
A scooter includes a front fork, a folding sleeve, a folding core, a folding seat, a folding lock and a folding pin. The folding seat is fixed on the front fork, a lower portion of the folding core is rotatably connected into the folding seat by means of the folding pin in a folding manner, the folding sleeve is arranged outside the folding seat in a sheath manner, a sliding rail is arranged in the folding sleeve, a lock catch assembly is arranged on a middle portion of the folding core, a folding fastener matching the lock catch assembly is arranged on a front portion of a footboard, the folding lock is arranged on an upper portion of the folding core in a sheath manner, and the folding lock is provided with a sliding shaft.
INFRARED SOAP DISPENSING FAUCET STRUCTURE
An infrared soap dispensing faucet structure comprises a shell and an automatic soap dispensing unit. The shell has a hollow vertical section with a first space and a hollow horizontal section with a second space. A water outlet and a soap outlet are arranged at an outer lower edge of the horizontal section. The water outlet has a first sensor and the soap outlet has a second sensor. The first sensor of the water outlet is provided for controlling the water outlet to be turned on and off. The shell and the automatic soap dispensing unit are integrated with each other so that a bathroom space is not in disarray and dirt remained on hands is not polluted a faucet or the automatic soap dispensing unit.
