Aspects of the disclosure relate to temporary storage systems for the temporary storage of agricultural grain products. The temporary storage systems include an enclosing retaining wall comprised of a plurality of free-standing wall sections. The enclosing retaining wall can include multiple free-standing wall sections arranged in a circular, oval, or substantially rectangular shape. Each free-standing wall section includes one or more corrugated panels coupled with one or more support structures. The support structures can be constructed from a rigid material and include ground supports, which permit the free-standing wall sections to maintain a predetermined angle based on the angle of repose of the agricultural products stored. Each corrugated wall panel includes a plurality of perforations and a plurality of corrugations configured to provide ventilation to the grain product, while maintaining the necessary rigidity to retain the loads imposed by the granular material.

Commercial hopper grain bin assembly method

A commercial hopper grain bin shell can be assembled on a concrete pad using jacks to successively support previously coupled side-wall panel rings above the concrete pad. The assembled shell can be supported above the concrete pad with the jacks while coupling a horizontal support beam around a bottom of the assembled commercial hopper grain bin shell. An uppermost ring of vertical support legs can be coupled to the horizontal support beam. An uppermost ring of hopper panels can be coupled to the horizontal support beam. The assembled shell and the vertical support legs previously coupled to the horizontal support beam can be successively supported above the concrete pad with jacks while coupling an additional ring of vertical support legs to the bottom of the previously coupled vertical support legs. An additional ring of hopper panels can be successively coupled to the bottom of the previously coupled hopper panels.

The grain spreading device generally includes a flow-control ring (e.g., an evenflow ring) adapted to be positioned below a grain bin opening, the flow-control ring comprising an upper opening and a bottom, and a cone movably suspended below the flow-control ring by a plurality of springs to create a variable opening between the cone and the bottom of the flow-control ring, the plurality of springs creating a restoring force, wherein the variable opening increases in size when a weight of grain on the cone moves the cone away from the bottom of the flow-control ring against the restoring force of the plurality of springs.

A grain bin fan support has a first bracket. The first bracket has a vertical mounting plate to mount the grain bin fan support to a grain bin foundation. The bracket also has a pivot plate extending perpendicular from the vertical mounting plate. The pivot plate has a central pivot aperture, an upper aligning aperture that is arcuate with the central pivot aperture at the center point, and a lower aligning aperture that is arcuate with the central pivot aperture at the center point. A first support member is cantilevered upon the grain bin foundation by the pivot plate. The first support member has a frame forming an isosceles triangle. A first frame aperture is aligned with a line of symmetry of the frame. The grain bin fan support has a platform. The bracket, support member, and the platform have bilateral symmetry.

A hay bale dryer features a support frame inside of which there is delimited at least one bale space and at least one manifold carrying a set of aeration spears movable between a deployed position penetrating the bale space and a retracted position withdrawn therefrom. The manifold is moved between the positions by way of an actuator driven linkage, and the aeration spears comprise hollow elongated bodies of tapered thickness toward their distal ends for more effective penetration of the hay bales. A manufacturing method uses a hydraulic press to produce the hollow elongated bodies from lengths of originally cylindrically pipe. Horizontal feeding tables and upright feeding racks feature displaceable bale movers for moving queued hay bales along one or more queuing lanes into one or more bale dryers.

The system includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of holding members. The support members are formed of an elongated member that provides structural strength and rigidity. The holding members fit over the support members and engage the upper end of the floor supports. The support members and holding members are quickly and easily installed by placing the support members on the floor supports and placing the holding members over the support members. Once the support members and holding members are in place on the floor supports, the elevated floor is assembled over the holding members and support members that provide support to the elevated floor when spanning increased distances between adjacent floor supports.
