Coolant nozzle having function of automatically eliminating clogging by foreign matter
A nozzle through which a liquid coolant is discharged is provided with an outer tube, a projecting member and an inner tube disposed inside the outer tube, and an elastic body disposed between the inner tube and a discharge port of the outer tube. If foreign matter accumulates on a nozzle opening of the inner tube, the elastic body is compressed by the inner tube under the pressure of the coolant, so that the inner tube moves toward the discharge port. Consequently, the projecting member penetrates the nozzle opening, thereby automatically removing the foreign matter accumulated on the nozzle opening.
Housing for a nozzle
A housing selectively encloses a nozzle. The housing has a body that partially defines an interior space in which the nozzle is configured to be disposed. The housing also includes a cover assembly that selectively blocks a first aperture of the body and further defines the interior space. Additionally, the housing has a piston that is disposed in the interior space and secured to the nozzle. The piston defines a gas inlet, a liquid inlet, and an outlet fluidly connected to both the gas inlet and the liquid inlet. The housing further includes a biasing member attached to the piston. The biasing member is configured to exert a biasing force that biases the nozzle to a retracted position. The biasing member is further configured such that when pressurized gas flows through the body, the biasing force is overcome such that the nozzle is disposed in an extended position.
Material dispense tips and methods for forming the same
A dispense tip constructed and arranged to communicate with a material dispensing pump comprises an elongated neck and a molded base having a first portion and a second portion opposite the first portion. The neck extends from the first portion of the base. The second portion is constructed and arranged to abut an outlet surface of the pump. An outermost region of the second portion of the base includes a compressible fluid-tight surface that compliantly conforms to the outlet surface when the dispense tip is mounted to the pump.

Fuel injector and method of making same
The invention relates to a fuel injector (1) for an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector (1) is comprised of an injector body (5) with an injector tip (6). The injector tip (6) is used for the injection of fuel into the combustion chamber (4) of the internal combustion engine. For this reason, the injector tip (6) is designed so as to be at least partially extended into the combustion chamber (4). If the injector tip (6) is designed to be flush with the surface of the combustion chamber (4), the injector tip (6) is arranged so that it directly faces toward the combustion chamber (4). Furthermore, the injector tip (6) is at least partially coated with a first oxide layer (9). According to the invention, a catalytic second oxide coating (10) composed of cerium oxide (CeO.sub.2), praseodymium oxide (PrO.sub.2), zirconium oxide (ZrO.sub.2), or any bi-component combination thereof is applied on top of the first oxide coating (9). The present invention also discloses a method of producing a fuel injector (1) which is at least partially coated with a first oxide coating (9) and a second oxide coating (10) applied over the first oxide coating (9), where the second oxide coating (10) is composed of at least one or more compounds from the group comprising cerium oxide (CeO2), praseodymium oxide (PrO2), or zirconium oxide (ZrO2) and is applied as a washcoat.
Nozzle
An EUV light source target material handling system is disclosed which includes a target material dispenser and a target material repository including a nozzle with a radial trench design. The nozzle may be formed from a silicon-on-insulator wafer.
