Latch assembly for glovebox
A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.
Door lock
A door lock for a top loading electrical appliance is provided that includes a latch head for locking a door of the top loading electrical appliance and a limiting mechanism for limiting rotation of the latch head before the door of the top loading electrical appliance reaches a closed position. The latch head is rotatable about an axis and has a latch head unlock position and a latch head lock position. The latch head may rotate between the latch head unlock position and the latch head lock position and the limiting mechanism may be arranged for limiting the latch head from rotating from the latch head unlock position to the latch lead lock position before the door of the top loading electrical appliance reaches a closed position.
Protective Device For A Universal Shaft As Well As Protective Arrangement With Universal Shaft And Such A Protective Device
A protective device for a universal shaft (3) has an attachment element (6), a tubular protective guard (7) and a latching device (24, 25). The attachment (6) is positioned around a shaft journal (2) projecting from a housing (1) and is attached to said housing (1). The tubular protective guard (7) extends along a longitudinal axis L and is positioned around a universal shaft (3) connected to the shaft journal (2). The latching device has at least one latching element (24) and at least one latching projection (25). The latching element (24) is arranged on either the attachment element (6) or the protective guard. The latching projection (25) is arranged on either the protective guard (7) or the attachment element (6). The latching element (24) is displaceable between a latched position and a release position. The latching element (24) is elastically formed and engages, in the latched position, behind the latching projection (25).
HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER
A handheld vacuum cleaner(10) includes a main body(22) with a handle(98) and a receptacle(150), a motor assembly(114) positioned within the main body(22), and a battery(138) configured to be selectively received within the receptacle(150) to power the motor assembly(114). The handheld vacuum cleaner(10) also includes a latch(490) movable between a blocking position that prevents removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150) and a released position that allows removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150). The latch(490) elastically deforms to move between the blocking position and the released position.
Interlock device of ring main unit
An interlock device of a ring main unit configured to be attached to an inner frame of the ring main unit controls an attachment and detachment of a cable cover using a spring, thereby including an effect of facilitating the attachment and detachment of the cable cover through an elastic force of the spring.
Vehicle interior lid for covering interior component airbag attachment
A vehicle assembly includes an interior body panel having an outer surface including an opening portion, and a lid removably mounted to the body panel. The lid has a closed position for covering the opening portion and an opened position. Engagement between the lid and the body panel is adapted to allow the lid to pivot at least partially into the opening portion as the lid is moved from the closed position to the opened position. The lid defines a lid body having an exterior surface. An edge portion of the exterior surface is continuous and without interruption about a periphery of the exterior surface so that the lid body exterior surface is flush with the body panel outer surface about the entire periphery of the lid body exterior surface.
Slam latch for tool box
A slam type locking mechanism is described. The locking mechanism allows a storage container with the locking mechanism to be slammed shut in a single motion. The operator may slam the lid or door to the container using a single hand that is only pressing or pushing the lid or door closed. The slam type locking mechanism includes a lock having a lock housing, a handle, and a spring loading mechanism. The handle is rotatably engaged to the spring loading mechanism. The rods are in a rotational engagement with the lock, wherein the rods have an offset that interacts with a striker on the container or lid in a locking relationship.
