Latch apparatus with independent identical opposing latches
The present latch apparatus includes a swinging piece having first and second independent latches or sliders sliding in first and second slots. The first and second sliders slide independently of each other. The first and second sliders engage an undersurface of an extension of a first object such as a gate. If either the first or second slider is engaged on the undersurface, the swinging piece is locked and is not swingable such that the first object such as the gate cannot itself swing away from a second object such as a barrier section. Only when each of the first and second sliders has been slid beyond the undersurface can the swinging piece swing to permit the first object such as the gate to be released and thus swingable itself relative to the second object such as the barrier section.
Latch apparatus
A wire crate latch apparatus having, in a first embodiment, a pivoting member that is continually drawn to a closed position by gravity and that is deflected into a catch when the door having the pivoting member is swung closed. The latch apparatus further includes upper and lower stops to contain a distal end of the pivoting member and to hold the distal end in the position to hit an oblique portion of the catch when the door is closed. In a second embodiment, a sliding latch apparatus is deflected by a catch and is relatively inaccessible from inside of the wire crate by back plates on the latch and catch.
INNER BUCKLING TYPE TOOL BOX
An inner buckling type tool box includes a first housing, a second housing, a locking member, a pushing member, and an elastic member. An inner wall of the first housing is provided with an accommodating portion to accommodate a locking member and a pushing member located between the inner wall and the locking member. The pushing member enables to slide vertically relative to the inner wall to drive the locking member to slide in a direction parallel to the inner wall, so that the locking member is selectively to be engaged with or disengaged form the second housing. Through a change in the moving direction, the occupation of deep space can be reduced greatly to maintain the capacity of the tool box.

Vehicle slide door apparatus
A vehicle slide door apparatus includes: a bracket fixed in a slide door; a lever operation mechanism supported on the bracket, and causing a release lever connected to a door lock part to perform an opening operation in accordance with manipulation of an inner handle in an opening direction, the door lock part bringing the slide door into an openable state upon the opening operation of the release lever; a child protect lever movably supported on the bracket, and making, by its movement to one side, manipulation force of the inner handle not be transmitted to the release lever; and a slider supported, in the bracket, on a side of an outer panel of the slide door slidably to a vehicle compartment interior side, and when being pushed to the vehicle compartment interior side, moving the child protect lever to the one side.
Window lock
A lock assembly is provided for a window having a first sash and a second sash. The lock assembly comprises an elongate strip configured to be coupled to the first sash. The elongate strip has a plurality of recesses defined along a length of the elongate strip. The lock assembly also includes a lock member configured to be coupled to the second sash and operable to move along the length of the elongate strip. The lock member includes a biasing member and a coupler biased in a direction of the elongate strip by the biasing member. The coupler is configured to enter each of the plurality of recesses to selectively lock the lock member to the elongate strip.
Motor vehicle lock comprising integrated servo closing function
The invention relates to a motor-vehicle lock, in particular a motor-vehicle door lock. In order to provide a reliable assembly and a reliable operation for said lock, the drive housing 6 of the servo closing function 2 is designed to function simultaneously as a Bowden cable bearing 8 and as a receiving chamber or shaft 14 for the micro-switch 15. The drive housing 6 has a robust, compact design and allows the micro-switch 15 to be sited securely in the drive housing 6 always in the same place. This also remains the case as the securing cover 10 is fixed in the drive housing 6 by means of a clip 11.

Animal resistant latching system
An animal-resistant latching system for inhibiting animals from accessing food and food containing refuse within containers is disclosed. The device is composed of an access panel containing an opening to which is secured at least one latching members, a cam assembly, a cover, and a bracket. The latching members are positioned so as to inhibit access to the container when the member is in the latched position and allow access to the container when the member is in the unlatched position. The cam assembly communicates with the latching members so as to move the members between the latched and unlatched positions. The cover and bracket are dimensioned and positioned on the access panel in a predetermined manner so as allow human hands access to the cam assembly and unlatch the container while simultaneously inhibiting such access by animals.
HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER
A handheld vacuum cleaner(10) includes a main body(22) with a handle(98) and a receptacle(150), a motor assembly(114) positioned within the main body(22), and a battery(138) configured to be selectively received within the receptacle(150) to power the motor assembly(114). The handheld vacuum cleaner(10) also includes a latch(490) movable between a blocking position that prevents removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150) and a released position that allows removal of the battery(138) from the receptacle(150). The latch(490) elastically deforms to move between the blocking position and the released position.
