Compressor system separator tank baffle
A separation tank useful to separate a compressed gas from a byproduct of compression (such as a lubricant/coolant used in the compression process) can include one or more baffles. The baffles used in the separation tank can include a number of passages to permit a flow of compressed gas to pass. The passages can include a louver to assists in directing the flow and/or assist in further separation of the compressed gas from the lubricant/coolant. The louvers can appear on one side of the baffle, and in one form are located solely on the downstream side of the baffle. The baffle can include a relief for liquid leveling within the tank. Any number of approaches can be used to make the baffle, including cutting and/or stamping.

Compressor system with variable lubricant injection orifice
A compressor system with a continuously variable oil injection orifice is structured to regulate a flow of oil from an oil reservoir into a compressor. The orifice includes a first valve member moveable in response to oil pressure toward a second valve member to define a continuously variable flow area. A biasing member urges the first valve member away from the second valve member.
PARTICLE SEPARATOR
A particle separator for the separation of solid particles out of a flowing fluid, the input mass flow, which is characterized in that a particle chamber for concentrating the solid particles to be separated is disposed in the flow path of the input mass flow and that at least one region of the wall of the particle chamber is implemented as a filter element through which a primary mass flow of the fluid can flow and that, additionally, at least one bypass opening is disposed in the wall of the particle chamber for the through-flow of the fluid with a secondary mass flow at higher filtration resistance.
Air compressor
A compressor including an oil separator connected to a supply of compressed air, the oil separator including a chamber having a wall defining a cavity within the chamber, and a vent within the wall, wherein the vent is in communication with the supply of compressed air at a first end, and in communication with the cavity via a second aperture, and extends substantially parallel to an externally-facing surface of the wall.
