Detector and related, devices, methods and systems
Detectors and related methods and systems are described, based on a primary binding compound and a secondary binding compound used in combination with a support to detect a target in a sample.
Devices for the detection of multiple analytes in a sample
The present invention relates generally to an assay for detecting and differentiating multiple analytes, if present, in a single fluid sample, including devices and methods therefore.
Methods and products for analyzing polymers
Methods and products for analyzing polymers are provided. The methods include methods for determining various other structural properties of the polymers.
INTEGRATED DEVICE FOR ANALYTE TESTING, CONFIRMATION, AND DONOR IDENTITY VERIFICATION
An apparatus for testing a fluid sample including a sample receiving member having an opening for receiving a fluid sample, wherein the sample receiving member comprises a sample collection chamber; a sample retention member, in fluid communication with the sample collection chamber, to retain a portion of the fluid sample; and at least one test strip, in fluid communication with the sample collection chamber, to indicate the presence or absence of at least one analyte in the fluid sample.
FACILITATING USERS TO SHARE PHYSICAL LOCATIONS
According to an aspect, a server receives first and second transient (changing with time) locations of an entity, the first transient location being associated with a time instance until which the entity is physically present at the first transient location. The server accordingly provides the first transient location as the physical location of the entity prior to the time instance, and the second transient location as the physical location after the time instance. According to another aspect, a client device identifies that a search text (received from a user) is directed to searching for physical locations in view of the search text including an affix. The client device then parses the search text to determine an identifier, sends a location request containing the identifier, receives a response containing a transient location associated with the identifier, and then provides the transient location to the user as the response to the search.
System with buffer for lateral flow on a porous membrane
Systems are described, based on a primary binding compound and a secondary binding compound used in combination with a support to detect a target in a sample. The systems includes at least one support structure, at least one small primary support portion containing at least one molecule covalently bound to a visual colloidal marker, a plurality of secondary support portions comprising secondary binding compounds that are covalently bound to the support portions and chemically active, at least one pH litmus indicator, at least one pH strip, a buffer for lateral flow on the porous membrane support that allows preservation and activity of binding compounds.
Device and method for performing a diagnostic test
Devices and methods for performing a point of care diagnostic test for detecting and quantifying at least one analyte in a biological sample. The device may include an immunoassay apparatus and a holder with a variable angle stage for positioning the immunoassay apparatus relative to a light source and a detector device. In one embodiment, the device is based upon elastic light scattering, so the variation in the angle of incidence and angle of reflection are optimized to maximize signal generation due to elastic light scattering. The detector device may include a wired or wireless connection to a computer network for communicating with an electronic medical records system, uploading the amount or concentration of at least one analyte present in the sample to the electronic medical records system, or querying a decision support algorithm stored in a computer readable format. The detector device may further include an onboard interpretive algorithm.

System with liquid and solid media for target binding
Detector systems are described, based on a primary binding compound and a secondary binding compound used in combination with a support to detect a target in a sample. The detection systems include a liquid medium hosting a first binding compound specific to a target, the first binding compound comprising a label; and a solid medium hosting a second binding compound specific to the target, the second binding compound being different from and non-competitive with respect to the first binding compound.
Integrated device for analyte testing, confirmation, and donor identity verification
An apparatus for testing a fluid sample including a sample receiving member having an opening for receiving a fluid sample, wherein the sample receiving member comprises a sample collection chamber; a fluid collector to collect the fluid sample and transfer the fluid sample into the sample receiving member, the fluid collector comprising a lancet and an absorbent material to absorb the fluid sample; and a test cartridge member in fluid communication with the sample collection chamber.
