Motor control device

A motor control device drives a motor based on a vehicle signal including drive assist information and performs vehicle control. The motor control device includes: a first controller and a second controller that perform a calculation operation concerning drive control over the motor. A first microcomputer corresponds to a calculation portion of the first controller. A second microcomputer corresponds to a calculation portion of the second controller. The first microcomputer and the second microcomputer mutually transmit and receive operation results by inter-microcomputer communication, or the first microcomputer unilaterally transmits an operation result from the first microcomputer by the inter-microcomputer communication. The first microcomputer and the second microcomputer synchronize timings to start and end control by performing at least one of three types of arbitration processes including: an AND-start arbitration process; an OR-start arbitration process; and a forced arbitration process.

Homopolymer primers for amplification of polynucleotides created by enzymatic synthesis

This disclosure describes a technique for performing random access in a pool of polynucleotides by using one unique primer and one homopolymer primer to selectively amplify some but not all of the polynucleotides in the pool. The polynucleotides are synthesized by a template independent polymerase such as terminal deoxynucleotide transferase (TdT) rather than by phosphoramidite synthesis. Enzymatic synthesis efficiently creates homopolymer sequences through unregulated synthesis. Use of one homopolymer primer instead of two unique primers decreases the complexity, time, and cost of synthesizing the polynucleotides. Use of a unique primer provides a sequence that can be varied to uniquely identify multiple different groups of polynucleotides. This enables random access by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification while still benefitting from the efficiency of homopolymer synthesis. The polynucleotides may include payload regions that use a sequence of nucleotides to encode digital data.

Method and system for designing formulated products

This disclosure relates generally to method and system for designing the formulated products. Conventional techniques for designing the formulated products, meeting final functional properties, are limited. Further, understanding user requirements and active incorporation of the user requirements during design phase is quite challenging. The present disclosure herein provides method and system that solve the technical problem of extracting the functional requirement by establishing continuous conversation with the user. An optimal prediction function for each functional requirement is determined by using a plurality of prediction models. An optimization technique along with an objective function is employed to determine optimized solutions comprising list of ingredients, possible concentration level of each ingredient, the process parameters, and the operating parameters for obtaining the desired formulation based on the user requirement.

Methods and systems for dynamically rearranging search results into hierarchically organized concept clusters

Methods of and systems for dynamically rearranging search results into hierarchically organized concept clusters are provided. A method of searching for and presenting content items as an arrangement of conceptual clusters to facilitate further search and navigation on a display-constrained device includes providing a set of content items and receiving incremental input to incrementally identify search terms for content items. Content items are selected and grouped into sets based on how the incremental input matches various metadata associated with the content items. The selected content items are grouped into explicit conceptual clusters and user-implied conceptual clusters based on metadata in common to the selected content items. The clustered content items are presented according to the conceptual clusters into which they are grouped.

Organizational reference data and entitlement system with entitlement generator

A system including a centralized organizational information system in communication with a centralized organizational information database and an entitlement generator in communication with the centralized organizational information system, wherein the entitlement generator is configured to automatically generate at least one executable entitlement rule based on an input rule. The system also includes a federated set of entitlements engines in communication with the entitlement generator and a plurality of entitlement databases, wherein each of the entitlements engines is for determining whether a user is entitled to access secured resources requested by the user based on the executable entitlement rule.

System and method for processing database queries

The present invention provides a system and method for processing a database query between one or more clients and one or more databases. The database query, which is formatted using a first protocol, is received from one of the clients. One of the databases is selected to process the database query and the database query is translated from the first protocol to a second protocol. The translated database query is then sent to the selected database for processing. A response to the database query, which is formatted using the second protocol, is received from the selected database and the response is translated from the second protocol to the first protocol. The present invention determines which of the clients sent the database query and sends the translated response to the client that sent the database query. This method can be implemented as a computer program embodied on a computer readable medium.

COLLABORATIVE DUE DILIGENCE REVIEW SYSTEM
20220051194 · 2022-02-17 ·

A system for providing a virtual data room for conducting due diligence on a plurality of documents that are remotely located and accessible over a computer network by a plurality of users using client computer systems. Documents are retrieved from the remote system and presented to a user on their local computing system for review and conducting due diligence tasks thereon. Based on the interaction the user has with the displayed document, due diligence status values that are associated with the display document are updated and stored with the virtual data room system. A display request is received and based on the request a display characteristic is calculated for a folder that includes a set of documents. The display characteristic is determined based on the due diligence status values of all of the documents within the folder.

IDENTIFYING EVENTS
20170243145 · 2017-08-24 ·

Events may be identified by storing information in response to activating an event stamp function. As a result of activating the event function, the information collected may immediately be compared to event information in a database. Alternatively, the information collected may later be compared to event information in a database. One or more candidates for the event of interest may be automatically or manually retrieved, and the user may decide whether a candidate event of the one or more candidates correspond to the event of interest. Alternatively, a purchase of an item related to the event may be automatically made in response to activating the event stamp.

Systems and methods for state-less authentication

Systems and methods for providing user logon and state-less authentication are described in a distributed processing environment. Upon an attempted access by a user to an online resource, transaction, or record, a logon component asks the user to supply a logon ID and a password. The logon component verifies the provided information, and upon successful identification, a security context is constructed from information relevant to the user. The security context is sent to the user and is presented to the system each time the user attempts to invoke a new resource, such as a program object, transaction, record, or certified printer avoiding the need for repeated logon processing.

Viral Engine for Network Deployment

A private network system operates over a public network to provide an asymmetric service to members with information from other members and non-members. The system includes central servers and databases connected via the public network to client systems of public network users. The users may be members who communicate with a private protocol or non-members who communicate with the public protocol. A process for the private service includes communication of information between users via the private service servers. The private service server implements the private service, which includes a viral engine for network deployment. Features of the viral engine include genetic algorithms, data mining, personalization, frictionless service setup, user maximization, and member-controlled privacy. A sample setup process and contact update wizard that include several viral engine features are described.
