A ball joint connector is provided for linking a showerhead to a water supply pipe. The connector has an internal venturi that draws air into the connector to aerate water being provided to the showerhead. A flow control member is disposed in a fluid pathway connected to the venturi, preventing spraying or leaking out the air inlet, while reducing noise associated with the air induction.

Booster-ejector system for capturing and recycling leakage fluids

A booster-ejector system captures and recycles leakage fluids from a process. When a pressure differential (head) of the process is above a threshold value, an ejector system uses motive fluid from a process high-pressure (HP) region to entrain and compress the leakage fluid, and direct it to a low pressure (LP) region. When the head is below the threshold value, a controller reconfigures a plumbing system and activates a leakage pump to pump the leakage fluid to the LP region. The system can include only one ejector, or a plurality thereof, which can be coupled such that the diffuser output of each ejector is directed to the suction input of the next ejector. At least one of the ejectors can include an exchangeable throat, which can impart a rotational component to the fluid. The HP and LP regions can be the output and input, respectively, of a compressor.

Water supply system comprising a venturi pipe

A water supply system includes a first pipe, a water reservoir, and a Venturi pipe having a first Venturi nozzle terminal, a second Venturi nozzle terminal and a Venturi nozzle branch arranged between the first and second Venturi nozzle terminal. The first Venturi nozzle terminal is connected via the first pipe to the water reservoir. The first Venturi nozzle terminal is connectable to a second pipe to fill the water reservoir. The branch of the Venturi pipe is connectable to a third pipe to supply taps. Water flows through the Venturi pipe from the first Venturi nozzle terminal to the second Venturi nozzle terminal when the water reservoir is filled, and water flows through the Venturi pipe from the second Venturi nozzle terminal to the Venturi nozzle branch during the supply procedure, to provide a water supply system which requires less maintenance and is less temperamental.
