VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A TANK OF A VEHICLE AND A METHOD OF CREATING A VACUUM IN THE TANK
A valve assembly includes a seat separating a cavity of a valve body into a first cavity portion and a second cavity portion. The assembly includes a cover device separating the first cavity portion into a first pocket and a second pocket. The cover device defines at least one hole to provide fluid communication between an aperture of the seat and an outlet of the valve body via the hole. The cover device is movable between a rest position to restrict fluid communication between the aperture and the hole, and an actuated position to increase fluid communication between the aperture and the hole when a vacuum is created in the first cavity portion. The aperture is in direct fluid communication with the first pocket when in the actuated position. The outlet is in direct fluid communication with the second pocket when in the rest and actuated positions.
Valve device for fuel tank
In a valve device for a fuel tank, a fuel liquid level of filling-up fuel feed and an allowable fuel amount of additional fuel feed can be easily and appropriately changed by replacing only a part of components forming the valve device. A first valve chamber has a structure of positioning an open end below a support portion of a first float having a passage portion for a fluid. A second valve chamber includes a support portion of a second float having a passage portion for the fluid. The first valve chamber and the second valve chamber are formed by fitting a lower-portion including the support portion and the open end of the first float and the support portion of the second float relative to an upper-portion including a first valve opening and a second valve opening.

Inlet valve with a shortened lifting lever and a method of shortening the lifting lever of the inlet valve
An inlet valve having a shortened lifting lever mechanism includes a main body having defined therein a compression hole and a waterway passage; a sealing pad; a float; and a shortened lifting lever mechanism that is rotatably connected to the main body, that comprises at least two lever stages each having a fulcrum, respectively, and that include a first stage lever, and a last stage lever that are connected in a driving way. The float is coupled to the first stage lever so that a dynamic body is formed to drive the shortened lifting lever mechanism to move. The sealing pad is assembled to the last stage lever so that the sealing pad opens or closes the compression hole with the movement of the shortened lifting lever mechanism when the float moves up and down. A method of shortening a lifting lever mechanism of an inlet valve is also disclosed.
Specific gravity valve
A specific gravity valve, has a floating valve member with a specific gravity that is less than the specific gravity of a first liquid and greater than the specific gravity of a second, heavier liquid. A valve seat is associated with the floating valve member. A valve member retainer retains the floating valve member and permits limited vertical movement of the floating valve member between an open position away from the valve seat and a closed position engaged with the valve seat, such that in the open position, fluid flow through the respective outlet is permitted, and in the closed position, fluid flow through the respective outlet is prevented. The specific gravity valve may be used with a production tank to prevent an unintended draw off of the wrong fluid component in the tank.
Valve assembly for a tank of a vehicle and a method of creating a vacuum in the tank
A valve assembly for a tank of a vehicle and a method of creating a vacuum are disclosed. A valve body defines a cavity and an outlet in fluid communication with the cavity for venting the tank. The assembly includes a seat disposed in the cavity of the valve body. The seat separates the cavity into first and second cavity portions. The seat defines an aperture to provide fluid communication between the first and second cavity portions. The assembly includes a cover device disposed between the seat and the outlet. The cover device defines at least one hole therethrough. The cover device is movable between a rest position engaging the seat to minimize fluid communication between the aperture and the hole and an actuated position spaced from the seat to increase fluid communication between the aperture and the hole when a vacuum is created in the first cavity portion.
Rollover vent valve assembly
A valve assembly includes a body engageable with a container, an internal cavity, and a vent outlet. A wall divides the internal cavity into a first chamber and a second chamber, the first chamber being between the bottom end of the body and the wall, and the second chamber being between the top end of the body and the wall, in communication with the vent outlet. An umbrella valve is coupled to the wall and has a central passage and an umbrella portion. The umbrella portion is positioned within the second chamber and is configured to engage a top side of the wall. The umbrella portion is configured to deform away from the top side of the wall to vent a gas along a first pathway from the first chamber to the vent outlet in response to pressure within the first chamber exceeding a cracking pressure of the umbrella valve.
