Pressure independent control valve
A pressure independent control valve contains a valve body with an inlet, an outlet and a flow channel coupling the inlet to the outlet. A hollow piston is arranged in a seat in the valve body, such that the hollow piston is configured to move. The hollow piston has an enclosure, such that the pressure independent control valve maintains different fluid pressures in the flow channel and inside the hollow piston. The pressure independent control valve contains a chamber and a biasing member to urge the hollow piston towards the chamber. The chamber is in fluid communication with the inlet and with the inside of the hollow piston, such that the valve applies substantially the same pressure inside the annular channel, at the inlet and inside the hollow piston.
Flow-control valve
The invention relates to a flow regulating valve (1) for liquid-conducting heating or cooling systems, consisting of a housing (2) with an inlet (3), an outlet (4), and a connecting piece (13) which is arranged between the inlet and outlet and into which a pressure regulating device (14) that keeps the pressure difference between the pressure regions in front of and behind a flow regulating unit (8) arranged in the connecting piece constant and a spindle (7) with an actuating part protruding out of the housing (2) and with a first throttle element (9) located in the housing (2) are inserted, said first throttle element acting on the flow regulating unit or parts thereof. The flow regulating unit (8) consists of a first throttle device, which is made of the first throttle element (9) that is secured to the spindle (7) and a seat (10), and a second throttle device, which is made of a second throttle element (11) that is arranged on the spindle (7) in a movable manner along same and a seat, wherein the second throttle element (11) can be moved in the direction of the first throttle element (9).
Flow control valve
An adjustable flow-control valve is for controlling the flow from a fluid-supply unit. The control valve includes a pressure-control unit and a flow-control unit, a first inlet for connection to the fluid-supply unit, and an outlet. The pressure-control unit includes a first chamber (I) and a second chamber (II) separated by a first movable element which is cooperatively connected to a first preloading device, the first chamber being in fluid communication with the first inlet and with the flow-control unit, and the second chamber being in fluid communication with the outlet of the flow-control valve and including a second inlet in fluid communication with the flow-control unit. The flow-control unit includes a third chamber (III) and a fourth chamber (IV) separated by a second movable element which is cooperatively connected to a second preloading device.
Fluid circuit in a turbine engine
A device for controlling feed of fluid to equipment, such as a heat exchanger, the device including: a fluid slide valve mounted in a fluid circuit including a slide movable between two positions, a first position in which it allows the fluid to flow through the equipment, and a second position in which it prevents the fluid from flowing through the equipment; a laminar flow constriction arranged in the fluid circuit upstream from the slide valve; and a drive mechanism moving the slide of the slide valve between its two positions by head loss of the fluid in the laminar flow constriction.
Pressure equalizing insert
The invention relates to a pressure equalizing insert (1) which is provided for installation in a valve (10) for regulating a fluid stream in particular in a HVAC system. The pressure equalizing insert (1) comprises a housing (2) having an actuating member (3) which is movably mounted thereon and is configured to at least partially guide the fluid stream regulated by the valve (10) and, when the pressure equalizing insert (1) is installed, co-operates with a valve seat (15) depending upon a pressure difference prevailing in the fluid stream in order to regulate the fluid stream. The invention further relates to a valve (10) having an installed pressure equalizing insert (1), wherein the pressure equalizing insert (1) can be inserted in particular as a pre-assembled assembly into the valve (10).
Flow controller
A flow controller for a heating system with a housing, which has an inlet connection for a heating medium, an outlet connection for the heating medium, and a preadjustment connection, with a rate regulating module, and with a handle, which acts together with a movably disposed structural element of the rate regulating module to preadjust the flow. To change the preadjustment of the flow via the handle, an effective cross section of a first flow-through opening for the heating medium can be adjusted and to regulate the preadjusted flow of the heating medium, a sleeve of the rate regulating module and a cup of the rate regulating module are disposed axially movable to one another. The inflow to the rate regulating module occurs on an outer side via the first flow-through opening which is provided on the sleeve and upstream of the second flow-through opening.
