Electromagnet for a hydraulic system
An electromagnetic valve for a hydraulic system for an automatic transmission of a vehicle. An armature chamber is filled with hydraulic medium and fluidically connected to hydraulic lines of the hydraulic system. An armature is mounted in the armature chamber such that its stroke is adjustable. The armature includes a shut-off body and divides the armature chamber into an opening-side chamber facing the flow opening and into an inner chamber facing away from the flow opening. During a stroke of the armature, an oil exchange occurs, and a displacement volume of the hydraulic medium overflows from the opening-side chamber into the inner chamber. A hydraulic line leading to the opening-side chamber or to the inner chamber of the armature chamber includes a dirt collecting element that is designed as a permanent magnet and that retains contaminations in the hydraulic medium that flows through the hydraulic line during an oil exchange.
FILTRATION DEVICE FOR ASSAYS
A device and method for filtering blood is disclosed herein. The device can filter blood and attach analytes within the blood to magnetic particles. The analytes can then be strongly bound to an analyzing device by a magnetic force. The analytes can then be counted by the analyzing device and the result can be displayed.
Water supply system comprising a venturi pipe
A water supply system includes a first pipe, a water reservoir, and a Venturi pipe having a first Venturi nozzle terminal, a second Venturi nozzle terminal and a Venturi nozzle branch arranged between the first and second Venturi nozzle terminal. The first Venturi nozzle terminal is connected via the first pipe to the water reservoir. The first Venturi nozzle terminal is connectable to a second pipe to fill the water reservoir. The branch of the Venturi pipe is connectable to a third pipe to supply taps. Water flows through the Venturi pipe from the first Venturi nozzle terminal to the second Venturi nozzle terminal when the water reservoir is filled, and water flows through the Venturi pipe from the second Venturi nozzle terminal to the Venturi nozzle branch during the supply procedure, to provide a water supply system which requires less maintenance and is less temperamental.
Arrangement for sand collection
The present invention regards a subsea sand handling system for limiting abrasion of specific subsea equipment (5), comprising an inlet (10) connectable to a sand separation system (2) upstream of the specific equipment (5) and an outlet (18, 22) connectable to a pipeline (6) downstream of the specific equipment (5), wherein it comprises at least two collection vessels (11,14) and means for flushing (16,17,19,21) the sand out of at least one of the collection vessels (11,14), and the vessels (11,14) and the means for flushing (16,17,19,21) the sand out of said vessels (11,14) are configured such that sand is flushed from one vessel (11,14) while sand is collected in the other vessel (14,11). The present invention also regards a method for limiting abrasion of subsea rotating equipment.
Gas pressure regulator with guide
A gas pressure regulator for use with gas delivery systems is provided. The gas pressure regulator includes, in one form, a body defining a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and a central portion having a longitudinal axis extending therethrough. An inlet is disposed proximate the distal end portion of the body, the inlet defining an inlet axis extending therethrough, and the inlet axis being offset from the longitudinal axis. A cavity is disposed within the central portion of the body, and defines an upper portion and a lower portion, the cavity centrally aligned with the longitudinal axis. The gas pressure regulator further includes a channel extending between the inlet and the cavity, and a guide disposed within the lower portion of the cavity in abutment with a bottom surface of the cavity substantially perpendicular to the lateral axis.
