PERFORATED LAMINATED PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THIS PRODUCT

A laminated product includes an extruded film of microperforated plastic material with a vacuum perforation process having protuberances extending in a same direction from a same face of the film, with first holes having an average diameter between 100 microns and 300 microns, produced at the vertices of the protuberances, and—a layer of nonwoven fabric mechanically joined by lamination to the film on the opposite face to that on which the protuberances extend, the laminated product being perforated with second through holes having an average diameter between 300 microns and 700 microns.

A labeling article and a method of use and assembly of the labeling article, where the labeling article comprises a label, an elastic securing band, and a release liner, and where the elastic securing band is configured to be stretched to define a loop between the elastic securing band and the release liner.

Partial-filled baffle

A baffle for sealing a vehicle structure, comprising a carrier with an interior body portion characterized by a plurality of spaced-apart members, providing voids, and an expandable material, that may also have openings, disposed on the carrier which, upon expansion, fills a vehicle cavity and covers the interior body portion and each of the voids.

CHIP CARD SUBSTRATE AND METHOD OF FORMING A CHIP CARD SUBSTRATE

A chip card substrate is provided, which includes a plurality of layers. The plurality of layers includes a first polymer layer including a first polymer material, a second polymer layer disposed over the first polymer layer and a second polymer material different from the first polymer material. The plurality of layers further includes a third polymer layer disposed over the second polymer layer and including the first polymer material. The second polymer layer includes a plurality of cutouts at an edge of the second polymer layer so that the first polymer material of the first polymer layer and of the third polymer layer form a coupling through the plurality of cutouts.

INCONTINENCE DETECTION APPARATUS ELECTRICAL ARCHITECTURE

An incontinence detection system includes an incontinence detection pad for placement beneath a person to be monitored. The incontinence detection pad has a passive radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. A reader is provided and a plurality of antennae is coupled to the reader. The reader includes a bistatic radio frequency (RF) switch matrix which is operable to establish a first antenna of the plurality of antennae as a transmit antenna that is used to wirelessly energize the passive RFID tag and to establish a second antennae of the plurality of antennae as a receive antenna that is used to read backscattered data that may be emitted from the passive RFID tag. The first and second antennae are situated in respective housings that are spaced apart from each other. An arrangement of first and second electrodes on an electrical sheet of an incontinence pad is also provided.

Apertured outer cover for absorbent articles

An outer cover for an absorbent article includes a nonwoven component having a plurality of apertures formed therein and a film bonded to the apertured nonwoven component. The apertures in the nonwoven component are formed by needling prior to the film being bonded to the nonwoven component. A method of making the outer cover includes feeding a web of nonwoven material to a needling station, needling the web of nonwoven material to form a plurality of apertures therein to define an apertured web of nonwoven material, and bonding the apertured web of nonwoven material to a film.

Bead-stiffened composite parts

A beaded composite panel is fabricated using composite plies. An opening is formed in each of plies, and each ply is laid up on a bead feature and drawn down over the bead feature in the area of the opening so as to widen the opening into a gap allowing the ply to conform to the contour of the bead feature. Patches are fabricated and placed on the plies overlying over the openings. The laid-up plies are compacted and cured.

Capacitive probe fabricating from spray deposition

A proximity sensor includes a lead supported on an outer surface of a case structure and a sensor wire that extends from the lead and through an opening in the case structure. The sensor is formed by applying alternating layers of electrically conductive and non-conductive materials in a non-cured state. A base non-conductive layer is applied to an inner surface of the case structure around the sensor wire in a non-cured state. Once cured, a conductive layer is deposited onto the base non-conductive layer and encapsulates the sensor wire. A cover non-conductive layer is then deposited over portions of the conductive layer to insulate the conductive layer. Portions of the non-conductive layer are then removed such that an area of the conductive layer is exposed to define a sensor area.

Heatable package bag

A heatable package bag includes two sheets of outer film, a plurality of projections, a plurality of guiding channels and a plurality of pre-breakage portions, where the two sheets of outer film includes a plurality of inner surfaces, a storage space is formed among the plurality of inner surfaces, adapted to receive an article; the plurality of projections is positioned on the plurality of inner surfaces, adapted to support the surface of the article; the guiding channels are positioned among the projections, the air in the storage space flows along the guiding channels; and the pre-breakage portions are positioned on the guiding channels. The air in the storage space is expanded to compress the two sheets of outer film during heating, and the plurality of pre-breakage portions is broken, allowing the air to flow out of the storage space via the plurality of pre-breakage portions.

Carbon-fiber chassis of an information handling system

A chassis and a method of manufacturing a chassis of an information handling system are disclosed. The chassis includes a carbon-fiber composite and a plurality vents of formed in the carbon-fiber composite. Each of the plurality of vents is a channel extending through the carbon-fiber composite.
