A hose clamp includes a clamp body formed by bending a plate spring into an annular shape while two ends of the plate spring are caused to cross, grip tabs formed to be raised radially outward from both ends of the clamp body, respectively and an expanded-diameter state retainer formed integrally on the clamp body or the tabs and capable of retaining an expanded-diameter state of the clamp body and releasing the clamp body from the expanded-diameter state by relative movement of both tabs in an axial direction of the clamp body with a gripping operation applied to both tabs. The tabs have respective distal ends, one of which has a larger width than the other. The distal ends are bent circumferentially outward into bent portions spaced from each other. The bent portions are insertable into positioning recesses formed in opposite surfaces of a gripping tool, respectively.

A purpose is to render a gripping operation of grip tabs more stable. A hose clamp includes a clamp body formed by bending a plate spring into an annular shape while two ends of the plate spring are caused to cross each other on a circumferential plane and grip tabs formed to be raised radially outward from both ends of the clamp body, respectively. An expanded-diameter state of the clamp body is retained when a locking claw is locked by a catch. The clamp body is released from the expanded-diameter state when a gripping operation is further carried out in this state. The second grip tab has a distal end formed to be wider than a distal end of the first grip tab. The distal ends of the grip tabs are bent in respective directions in which the distal ends depart from each other with respect to a thicknesswise direction, thereby serving as bent portions for the gripping operation, respectively.

A crimpable compression clamp that secures a tube onto a fitting and is able to be installed and removed without having to separate the tube and the fitting from each other. The crimpable compression clamp includes an inner band portion and an outer band portion. The inner band portion is detachably attached in the outer band portion so as to allow the crimpable compression clamp to be installed and removed without having to separate the tube and the fitting from each other by merely separating the outer band portion and the inner band portion from each other.

A brake actuator includes a housing having a first housing component with a first annular flange and a second housing component with a second annular flange, wherein the first and second annular flanges are overlapping. A clamp ring extends circumferentially around the first and second housing components and engages the first and second annular flanges. The clamp ring includes a first end having a first tab and a second end having a second tab, wherein the second tab is spaced radially outwardly from and overlies the first tab. A deformable member couples the first and second tabs. A clamp ring, methods of manufacturing the clamp ring, and methods of assembling the brake actuator are also provided.
