Fastener stringer
These fastener elements have: an element main body portion having a coupling head portion; and first and second projections that project in a tape surface/rear-surface direction from the element main body portion. The first and second projections have a top surface, peripheral side surfaces standing upright from the element main body portion, and at least one sloped surface between the top surface and the peripheral side surfaces that has a different angle of inclination from the top surface and the peripheral side surfaces. As a result, the fastener elements appear long and narrow in the element length direction and have an external appearance close to that of a metal element. Furthermore, a stop claw portion is less likely to catch on the fastener elements when starting the sliding operation of a slider.
Slide fastener chain and slide fastener
There is provided a side fastener chain. A plurality of elements are fixed on each of opposing edge portions of a pair of fastener tapes at a predetermined pitch. The elements include a base portion and a head portion. A ratio (Rt) of the sum dimension of a first partial thickness, which is measured from an upper surface of each element to an upper surfaces-side apex of the respective edge portion, and a second partial thickness, which is measured from a lower surface of the element to a lower surface-side apex of the edge portion, to a thickness of the element satisfies the following equation: 40%Rt. A ratio (Rtl) of the thickness of the element to the entire length of the element satisfies the following equation: 0<Rtl<60%.
Slide fastener chain and slide fastener
[Problem] To provide a slide fastener chain and a slide fastener, which have a small curvature radius and which have flexibility enabling the slide fastener chain and the slide fastener to be smoothly bent. [Solution] A slide fastener chain (1) comprises: a pair of fastener tapes (2); and elements (3) affixed to the facing edges (21) of the fastener tapes (2) at a predetermined pitch. The slide fastener chain (1) is characterized in that: the elements (3) each have bases (31a, 32a) affixed to a fastener tape (2) and each have heads (31c, 32c) protruding from the bases (31a, 32a) and engaging with facing elements (3); and the thickness (t) and pitch (p) of the elements (3) satisfy the following expressions (1) and (2).
