Slider for slide fastener
A slider includes lower flanges placed on left and right side edges of a lower wing plate. Each of the lower flanges includes a downwardly inclined surface portion which is placed on the shoulder-opening-side tip portion on a side of its upper surface and on an outer side in a width direction of the slider, and which downwardly inclines toward a shoulder and downwardly inclines toward the outer side in the width direction of the slider. According to this, in a slide fastener having the slider, even if a sliding operation of the slider is repeated in the slide fastener, it is possible to avoid defects that the lower flange of the slider comes into sliding contact with the fastener tape and the fastener tape is broken, and it is possible to extend the life of the fastener tape.
Slider for slide fastener
A slider for a slide fastener is provided which is capable of quickly fastening and unfastening the slide fastener in a remote operation manner. A string having pull tabs on longitudinally opposite sides is fixed to a body of the slider for a slide fastener such that the string is not moved in the longitudinal direction.
Slider and method for repairing slide fastener
A slider body of a slider includes a slider main member and a slider sub-member. The slider main member includes at least a portion of a first blade and at least a portion of a second blade which are connected to each other through a guide column. The slider sub-member includes a pair of first flange sections and is assembled with and fixed to the slider main member. The slider can easily be attached to a fastener chain. Since the slider stably has a predetermined distance between the first and second blades, it is possible to secure satisfactory sliding properties and operability of the slider.
Slide fastener attachment method
The slide fastener attachment method includes: integrating, by welding or bonding, a fastener chain to which a segmented slider has not been attached and a fastener receiving member, and attaching the slider to the fastener chain after the integration. Thus, welding work operation efficiency is improved, and reduction of production cost can be expected.
Snag resistant slide fastener
A conventional zipper is the preferred means for closure of many jackets and other outerwear. Conventional zippers are prone to jamming and snagging due to the introduction of the liner into the slider body as the zipper is opened and closed. Embodiments herein provide modified slider bodies with one or more features such as an elongated spring cap, a protrusion on the bottom plate and/or plate coupler of the slider body, and/or vertically offset side rails. These features may minimize introduction of loose fabric, such as the lining of a lined garment, into the tape slot of the slider body, thereby help reduce jamming of the slider body during operation of the slide fastener.
