Side-loading straight-line deadend clamp assembly
A clamp assembly includes a body member having a first and second ends. A cable groove is formed in the body member between the first and second ends thereof to receive a conductor. A keeper is connected to the body member and has a lower surface to engage the conductor received in the cable groove. A threaded fastener connects the keeper to the body member. A biasing member is disposed between the keeper and the body member on the threaded fastener to bias the keeper in a direction away from the body member.
Side-loading quadrant deadend clamp assembly
A clamp assembly includes a body member having a cable groove formed therein to receive a cable. A keeper is connected to the body member and has a lower surface adapted to engage the cable received in the cable groove. A biasing member is disposed between the keeper and the body member.
Adjustable fixation clamp and method
An adjustable fixation clamp having first and second clamp assemblies positioned about a shaft. The clamp assemblies may each have a pair of vise plates. Each pair of vise plates may define at least two receiving portions and insertion portions intersecting the receiving portions. The receiving portions of one clamp assembly may receive at least two fixation components such as screws, pins or wires. The receiving portions of the other clamp assembly may receive at least one connector such as a rod, bar and/or ring. A biasing structure may be positioned between the first and second clamp assemblies and may allow for the fixation components to be snapped into the receiving portions through the insertion portions. Two or more adjustable fixation clamps may be used to form an external fixation system. At least two screws, pins or wires may be inserted into bone and one of the clamp assemblies may be attached thereto. A guide may be used for insertion of screws, pins or wires into bone. The other clamp assembly may be connected to a rod, bar or ring. Thereafter, the clamp assemblies may be oriented relative to each other and locked in place.
Custom fastened locking stopping covered wire rope clip system
A wire rope clip to clip strands of wire rope together includes a one piece U bolt including a pair of threaded members; a saddle including a pair of holes that receive the pair of threaded members of the U bolt to compress the strands of wire rope between the U bolt and the saddle; a pair of fasteners threadably engageable with the threaded members of the U bolt, wherein the U bolt and the saddle include respective stop engagement members that engage when the pair of threaded fasteners threadably engage the threaded members of the U bolt to a predetermined point, creating even pressure by both the one piece U bolt and the saddle on the wire rope clip and proper torque to the wire rope strands.
