Push through retainer connection with integrated hinging seal

A connection assembly adapted to join a surface element to an underlying support structure while maintaining a substantially zero gap abutting relation between the surface element and the support structure. The connection assembly includes a press-in retainer with a circumferential seal having a sealing foot. The sealing foot flexes about a living hinge while maintaining continuous sliding contact with the support panel without interfering with downward movement of the retainer.

PUSH THROUGH RETAINER CONNECTION WITH INTEGRATED HINGING SEAL

A press-in retainer includes a retainer head having a collar and a seal disposed at least partially about the collar. A clip portion projects from the collar. The seal includes a main body engaging the collar and a sealing foot disposed entirely outboard from the collar. The sealing foot is configured to hinge about an intersection of the sealing foot and body portion while remaining entirely outboard from the main body. In a substantially flattened condition of the sealing foot, an angle between the sealing foot and a distal surface of the main body approaches a flat contiguous surface.

Movable partition usable with animal kennel, and kennel apparatus
09788524 · 2017-10-17 · ·

A movable partition is usable with an animal kennel to change the size of the reposable region of the kennel within which an animal can be disposed during the animal's period of growth. The reposable region is situated between the kennel door and the movable partition. The movable partition is mountable to ventilation openings formed in the animal kennel and is movable among a variety of distances from the kennel door to change the size of the reposable region within the kennel in order to properly train the animal and to avoid the animal relieving itself within the kennel. The partition includes a barrier element and a number of mounting elements that are mountable to the ventilation openings of the kennel. The movable partition further includes a number of clip apparatuses that are cooperable with the mounting elements to retain the mounting elements mounted to the ventilation openings.

Fastening system

The present disclosure relates to a fastening system for fastening a first component on a second component, wherein the first component has a first bearing surface and a first direction of extent, and the second component has a second bearing surface and a second direction of extent, and an included angle between the first direction of extent and the second direction of extent is adjustable steplessly within an angle range. The fastening system has a clamp element with which the first component can be fastened on the second component when the first bearing surface lies on the second bearing surface, and, in the fastened state of the two components, at least one force-transmitting element is clamped between the two bearing surfaces.
