The electronic smoking article includes an authenticated first section, which includes an aerosol generation unit having at least one heater; an authenticated second section, which includes a power supply operable to apply voltage to the at least one heater for heating a liquid in at least a portion of the aerosol generation unit to form an aerosol; and a conductive ink circuit embedded within the first and second sections, and wherein the power supply and the aerosol generation unit are electrically connected upon joining the first and second sections, and wherein each of the first and second sections has a portion of the conductive ink circuit.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic smoking article includes an outer tube extending in a longitudinal direction, an inner tube within the outer tube and including a pair of opposing slots, a liquid supply comprising a liquid material, a coil heater, a wick and a mouth end insert. The coil heater is located in the inner tube. The coil heater is formed of an iron-free, nickel-chromium alloy and has substantially uniformly spaced windings. The wick is surrounded by the coil heater such that the wick delivers liquid material to the coil heater and the coil heater heats the liquid material to a temperature sufficient to vaporize the liquid material and form an aerosol in the inner tube.
Electronic vaping device
In one embodiment, the electronic vaping device includes a cartridge and a battery section. The cartridge and the battery section are connectable so as to define an air inlet between a portion of the cartridge and a portion of the battery section.
Indirectly heated capillary aerosol generator
An indirectly heated capillary aerosol generator comprises a capillary tube adapted to form an aerosol when liquid material in the capillary tube is heated to volatilize at least some of the liquid material therein and a thermally conductive material in thermal contact with the capillary tube. The indirectly heated capillary aerosol generator provides substantially even and uniform heating across the heated length of the capillary tube.
ELECTRONIC VAPING DEVICE
An electronic smoking article, a method of manufacturing an electronic smoking article, and a method of achieving a smoking experience without combusting tobacco are disclosed.
Ink jet print head
A method of manufacturing an ink jet print head capable of bonding the printing element substrate to the support surface with high precision in a reduced period of time is provided. For this purpose, raised flat portions are formed in the support surface of the supporting member to provide in an adhesive layer between the printing element substrate and the supporting member a portion of the thermosetting adhesive that is thinner than others. After the relative positions of the printing element substrate and the supporting member are adjusted, the thin portions of the adhesive layer are hardened. This enables the printing element substrate to be bonded to the supporting member in a relatively short period of time. As a result, if there are undulations on the support surface, the printing element substrate can be bonded to the supporting member with high precision, improving the mass productivity of the print head.
Scent warmers including lighting and heating modules and related methods
Scent warmers may include a base structure and a modular assembly structurally and electrically coupled with the base structure by an Edison screw fitting. The modular assembly may include a lighting module and a heating module. The lighting module and the heating module may be fastened to one another in a releasable manner. Methods of assembling scent warmers may involve fastening a lighting module to a heating module in a releasable manner to form a modular assembly. The modular assembly may be structurally and electrically coupled with a base structure by an Edison screw fitting.
Method for manufacturing ink jet head
Provided are a method for manufacturing an ink jet head and an ink jet head. The method includes: arranging a vibrating plate on lower surface of a substrate; arranging a piezoelectric actuator on surface of the vibrating plate; arranging a protective film on surface of the piezoelectric actuator for sealing the piezoelectric actuator along with the vibrating plate, thus preventing the piezoelectric actuator from corrosion; etching the substrate and the vibrating plate to form a groove on the substrate at a position corresponding to the piezoelectric actuator, and form a liquid feeding hole on the substrate and vibrating plate; forming a pressure chamber and a nozzle orifice on lower surface of the vibrating plate, allowing the pressure chamber to cover the position where the piezoelectric actuator is arranged in the vibrating plate, enabling communication of the pressure chamber with the nozzle orifice and the liquid feeding hole.
Manufacturing method of liquid ejection head
A manufacturing method of a liquid ejection head, which includes a step of preparing a substrate including a first layer, a step of forming a flow path mold for forming the flow path and a member located outside the mold with a gap between the mold and the member from the first layer, a step of providing a second layer so that the second layer fills the gap and covers the mold and the member located outside the mold with the gap between them, a step of forming an ejection orifice forming member for forming an ejection orifice from the second layer, a step of removing the member located outside the mold with the gap between them, and a step of forming a wall member located outside the ejection orifice forming member with at least a partial gap between the ejection orifice forming member and the wall member.
