Method for producing a heat pipe
A method for producing a heat pipe includes the steps: providing a pipe-shaped casing element having a length and an interior; filling a powder with particles into the casing element to form a capillary structure in the casing element; connecting the particles of the powder to one another, wherein the interior enclosed by the casing element is filled with the powder partially or in its entirety at least across a partial area of the length of the casing element, and subsequently the connection of the particles of the powder to one another and preferably also to the casing element in a layer lying against the casing element is established from the outside by inductive heat generation.
Method of manufacturing a heat exchanger
A method includes providing a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet, printing a plurality of channels on the first metal sheet, bonding the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet to each other to obtain a fin body, bending a first portion of the fin body to be transverse to a second portion of the fin body, separating the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet from each other to form the plurality of channels, introducing working fluid in the plurality of channels, and sealing the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet.
Method to fill heat pipe arrays
A fill tool system that fills, seals, and inspects a heat pipe array, which includes one or more heat pipes with heat pipe working fluid.
Method of manufacturing cooling device using heat pipe
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cooling device using a heat pipe in which, using casting, the heat pipe is embedded inside a housing, and the method includes a filling step in which a predetermined support member is filled inside a pipe to prevent deformation of the pipe by a pressure of a melt being injected into a cavity of a mold that is closeable, a pipe seating step in which the pipe filled with the predetermined support member is seated in the cavity, a melt injecting step in which the melt is injected into the cavity to surround the pipe, a cooling and withdrawing step in which the injected melt is cooled and a molded product is withdrawn, an injecting step in which a working fluid is injected into the pipe through an injection end, and a finishing step in which, after the injecting step, the pipe is sealed.
Thermal insulation products and production of thermal insulation products
Methods of making thermal insulation products that may be usable to provide insulation in high temperature applications. One method includes sealing a support material (e.g., a nanoporous core such as fumed silica, an aerogel powder, etc.) and at least one vapor within an interior portion of a substantially gas-impermeable envelope (e.g., a metallic and/or polymeric film), and then condensing at least a portion of the vapor after the sealing step to reduce the pressure within the gas-impermeable envelope from a first pressure before the condensing to a lower second pressure after the condensing. The disclosed methods limit or eliminate the need for pumping mechanisms to draw the vacuum within the products, drying of the core before the sealing, and the like.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HEAT CONDUCTING DEVICE
A manufacturing method of a heat conducting device includes following steps: providing a first plate, which includes a plate body and at least a heat conducting element, wherein the plate body has at least an inserting end disposed corresponding to the heat conducting element and defining a tube, and the heat conducting element is mounted at the tube; providing a second plate, which has a first opening end; disposing a first wick structure on an internal wall of the heat conducting element and a bottom surface of the plate body; disposing a second wick structure on an internal wall of the second plate; and connecting the plate body to the first opening end so as to connect the first plate and the second plate to form a chamber. Accordingly, the heat conducting device has a higher heat conducting efficiency.
Mechanical-thermal structure suitable for a space environment
A monolithic mechanical-thermal structure which is suitable for a space environment is provided, in which the structure contains at least one hole. The walls of the hole are lined with filaments. The monolithic mechanical-thermal structure may be made of metal. And a process for manufacturing the structure is also provided.
Thin heat pipe structure and manufacturing method thereof
A thin heat pipe structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The thin heat pipe structure includes a tubular body and a mesh body. The tubular body has a chamber and a working fluid. At least one first channel and at least one second channel are formed on an inner wall face of the chamber. The first and second channels extend to intersect each other. The mesh body is attached to the inner wall face of the chamber. The thin heat pipe structure is able to transfer heat in both axial direction and radial direction. By means of the manufacturing method, the heat pipe can be slimmed and the ratio of good products can be greatly increased.
