Method for manufacturing an electrical heating device and heating device
What is described is a method for manufacturing an electrical heating device, wherein electrical heating resistors are disposed in tubes of an extruded profile, and openings are cut into a plate of the extruded profile connecting the tubes. According to this disclosure, fastening sections of the extruded profile are plastically deformed and, by means thereof, heat sinks are fastened on the extruded profile. A corresponding electrical heating device is also described.
Tube support system for nuclear steam generators
Apparatus for a steam generator that employs tube support plates within a shroud that is in turn disposed within a shell. The tube support plates are made of a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion lower than that of the shroud. The tube support plates are aligned during fabrication, with minimal clearances between components. Using a tube support displacement system, a controlled misalignment is then imposed on one or more tube support plates, as the steam generator heats up. The tube support plate displacement system has only one part, a push rod, which is internal to the steam generator shroud, thereby minimizing the potential of loose parts. The tube support plate displacement system can be used to provide controlled misalignments on one or more tube support plates, in the same or varying amounts and directions, and with one or more apparatus for each individual tube support plate.
Manufacturing method for structure and manufacturing method for liquid ejecting head
In a structure such as a liquid ejecting head configured to cover an opening of a base with a covering member, the present invention alleviates the generation of a warp on the structure or the base even if the covering member is hardened and shrunk. The structure includes the base and the covering member attached onto the base. A manufacturing method for the structure includes: a first step of attaching the covering member having flexibility onto the base in such a manner as to cover an opening of the hole formed at the base and a second step of hardening the covering member attached onto the base. In the first step, the covering member is attached onto the base in a state in which a non-stuck portion of the covering member, covering the opening of the base, is slack.
Indirect evaporative cooling heat exchanger
A heat exchanger including a header having a plurality of header openings with rigid tubes that may be made of plastic are inserted in the openings. The tubes are sealed to the header to prevent leakage between the header and the tubes to prevent water and air leakage between the wet, scavenger air stream flowing through the tubes and a dry air stream flowing around the tubes. A method of making the heat exchanger includes providing the openings with a flange and uses an interference fit between the rigid heat exchange tubes and the header openings. A self-leveling sealant may be used to seal the heat exchanger tubes to the header using, for example, a paint roller and/or a paint sprayer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STEAM SEPARATOR TIE BAR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
Systems enhance stand pipe alignment and security with braces docking to the stand pipes. A link connects pairs of braces so the braces and stand pipes docked thereby cannot move relative to each other when fully secured. Partially securing braces allows adjustment of the braces and distance between the same and thus stand pipe position. Fully securing the braces makes the entire system rigid without need for a tie bar. Braces and links can be installed and secured to the stand pipes and among each other at an axial position from above the stand pipes, so that overhead, simple tooling may be used. A crimp nut or other resilient connector may be used to secure the systems from that single dimension with simple tooling. Any number of braces, joining to any number of other braces, may be used in the system, and several systems may be used at various levels.
Method of manufacturing actively cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration
Disclosed is an improved method of manufacturing cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration. In a preferred form, the method includes the steps of: machining a plurality of stubs, a first and a second end of a plurality of inconel pipes; welding the stubs with the first end of the inconel pipes forming a water connector assembly; machining of a base plate; welding the base plate with the water connector assembly; machining the base plate welded with the water connector assembly, wherein machining further comprises milling of plurality of cooling channels across angled plane of the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; closing of plurality of cooling channels located on the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; and welding each of plurality of external hydraulic circuits with the second end of each of the plurality of inconel pipes.

Heat exchanger tube, heat exchanger tube bundle, heat exchanger comprising such a bundle and method for producing a plate of a heat exchanger tube
A tube (2) of a heat exchanger (1) is intended to allow an exchange of heat between a first fluid and a second fluid flowing in contact with the tube (2). The tube (2) comprises an upper plate (22) and a lower plate (21) positioned facing one another and defining an internal space (25) in the tube (2) in which the first fluid is able to circulate. Each of the plates (21, 22) comprises a bottom (23) and at least one edge (24). The plates (21, 22) are in contact with one another at the edge (24). The tube (2) comprises a deflection screen (30) secured to the edge (24), with the deflection screen (30) comprising a first wall (31) extending transversely to the bottoms (23) and arranged to deflect the second fluid toward the bottoms (23). The invention also relates to a bundle of such tubes and to a heat exchanger comprising such a bundle, and to a method for producing a heat exchanger tube plate.
