A cage for a constant-velocity ball joint is annular and has cage windows arranged spaced apart from one another along a circumferential direction for guiding balls of the constant-velocity ball joint; wherein each cage window has at least on one side a ball guiding surface facing in an axial direction. The cage can be produced by: a) providing a cage having cage windows; b) applying at least one compressive force via an outer circumferential surface of the cage, facing in a radial direction, in a first region of at least one ball guiding surface of at least one cage window; c) deforming the cage in the first region of the at least one ball guiding surface, so that the at least one ball guiding surface is displaced inwardly in the radial direction with respect to an adjacent second region of the cage.

A rolling-element bearing cage includes two axially spaced-apart side rings extending in a circumferential direction. Each side ring is split in the circumferential direction along at least one cutting line, thereby defining bordering surfaces on first and second bearing cage sections. A plurality of connecting bridges connects the side rings in an axial direction. First and second pairs of mutually-opposing first projections and corresponding first openings are disposed on the side rings along the bordering surfaces of the first and second bearing cage sections and fix the bordering surfaces to each other in at least first and second directions that are perpendicular to each other. A pair of a second projection and a corresponding second opening is disposed axially between the first and second pairs of first projections and first openings and fixes the bordering surfaces to each other in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions.

Method for producing a rolling bearing cage for an axial-radial rolling bearing and axial-radial rolling bearing

The invention relates to a method for producing a rolling bearing cage for a rolling bearing comprising at least one row of rolling elements. In the method according to the invention, a ring or a ring element made of a metallic solid material is provided and shaped by a forming process and/or a cutting, material-removing process into an annular or segmented main body of the rolling bearing cage. The main body has openings for receiving a respective rolling element, the main body being heated to a temperature above a minimum coating temperature for thermal coating with a thermoplastic material powder, wherein the main body is then immersed in a fluidized bed containing the thermoplastic material powder, wherein thermoplastic material powder adheres to the main body, melts and forms a contiguous coating while the main body is present in the fluidized bed, and wherein, after the coating, the main body is removed from the fluidized bed. The invention further relates to an axial-radial rolling bearing with the described rolling bearing cage.

Method and device for producing a rolling bearing cage from a sleeve-like blank

A method is provided for producing an angular bearing cage from a sleeve-like blank. In order to significantly reduce the manufacturing costs compared to known solutions even for small series, the method comprises the following steps of: Step A: providing a sleeve-like blank extending along an axis. Step B: rolling a wall section to be formed of the blank while changing the angle of the wall section to be formed relative to the axis of the blank. Step C: introducing rolling element pockets into the rolled wall section. A corresponding device and a correspondingly produced rolling bearing cage or angular bearing cage are also provided.
